Varrirob I use TD Waterhouse and find them very good for the level of trading I do. £15 a trade (plus any associated stamp etc) and you'll be able to trade LUC no problem. Good to see LUC up and I hope they stay above $1 never mind 90c, as for 7p for Bots well I'll have my fingers crossed for that. ;-) LMN

I am in the process of signing up to TD Waterhouse. I think i can trade on-line although if i can't and it ends up being by telephone then it will be in line with what Barclays advised. I didn't go with Barc as they charge £25 per quarter inactivity fee if you don't trade and if you do trade it's something like £40 per trade. Was a bit gob smacked i have to say. Was also a bit cynical about a drop in LUC share price the other week leading up to hand over but i hope that we remain at the upper .90's now.

LUC are on the TSX Venture exchange rather than the main TSX board. BSL told me today that I will probably have to open a foreign trading account and trade by telephone only. Commission rates are somewhat higher than on-line.

$1.02 - $1.10

That's 64p - 69p on today's exchange rate.

51p - 55p at 0.8 conversion.

I'm really looking forward to reading an update on the state of play of the projects held by Botswana Diamonds. It seems ages since we've had an update on anything other than AK6.

tanelorn - Luc owned by the Lundin's is a very good company and were always better able to manage this into production- they have a pretty good historic record at enchancing added value.

Hi, yes, but only 50k shares in afd, thus i'll end up with circa 50,000 x 0.8 x (0.90 / 1.59) plus anything newco will be worth. Maybe i'll walk away with £24,000 which is a premium on the current price. Don't rate Teeling,

Lucara Announces African Diamond Shareholder Approval of Plan of Arrangement

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

View News Release in PDF Format VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 29, 2010) - Lucara Diamond Corp. ("Lucara" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:LUC) is pleased to announce that African Diamonds PLC ("AFD") shareholders approved the previously announced Plan of Arrangement (see Lucara news release dated October 4, 2010) at a Special General Meeting held in London on November 26, 2010, voting 98.2% in favour of the transaction.

Pursuant to the plan of arrangement, Lucara will acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of AFD on the basis of 0.80 of a common share of Lucara for each AFD common share by way of an English court-approved Scheme of Arrangement (the "Acquisition"). Upon closing of the Acquisition, Lucara will hold a 100% interest in the AK6 project, an advanced, high-value diamond development project located in the Orapa/Letlhakane kimberlite district of Botswana.

The Acquisition is expected to close before the end of 2010, subject to the sanction of the English courts and all applicable regulatory approvals, including approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, AIM, and the satisfaction of certain closing conditions customary in transactions of this nature.

On Behalf of the Board,

William Lamb, President and CEO

primitive/chapchip - maybe if ye had sold (myself included) we could have re-invested in property or indeed a bank which would now be worth - very little

The end of a long journey for many of us - should've sold at 180 but that's the way it goes. Lucara seem like a decent outfit thankfully.
