06/10/2010 08:00 | remember teeling mining in 8 weeks . world class mine nine years later back to square one put on the pointed hat if it fits | rainfall
06/10/2010 07:45 | Thanks Wirral, you have been right so far. Looks like this is the opening salvo, to what could be quite an interesting battle. The winner will be the AFD share-holders and the AFD BOD. | yarisverso
06/10/2010 01:03 | still trying to get my head around all this,,,,,,,,luc running at 90c any speculation for luc share price when both mines are up and running?. $2.60 $3 ? $3.40 ? i have lots of pieces of paper with sums all over the show.......and my brain is now on strike :-( but at one point i thought----actually this looks a fair deal as luc are also undervalued at the mo | markfrankie
05/10/2010 23:32 | eddieohare, I've just received an email. I have just got around to checking my email, although it seems you sent it at 10:50 this morning. Here's hoping! Cheers. | arf dysg

05/10/2010 20:40 | Teemore..... you were measured and you failed, my son. | the mullah
05/10/2010 20:25 | Reddish lost his dummy and now he is looking for a soother!!! Most longterm holders are quite happy to hold into production of what will be a world class mine -ak6 eddie -have you anthing that would soothe reds nerves as it appears that the guy is going loopy!!!!! | teemore
05/10/2010 19:34 | God red ur keen all of a sudden! r u here to save all the lost souls???? | eddieohare1
05/10/2010 17:42 | The guru Teemore imparts his almighty wisdom : teemore - 3 Sep'10 - 21:40 - 12119 of 13284 Reddish- JT has as much chance of recommending an all share offer to holders as I have of jumping over the moon. I would not accept anything less than £2 as that is the figure that I think is at the very lower range of valuation. In the same way as if I was selling a house or a car I would only accept a price which reflected value (if I had run out of cash then I would take whatever was on offer!) As I have said on many occasions I am not the slightest bit interested in any offers as I am quite sure that they will be at a fraction of asset value with the bigger comapnies who have a few pounds trying to buy use us out on the cheap - nothing unusal about that. I say to holders sit tight and wait for production. teemore - 4 Sep'10 - 13:34 - 12128 of 13284 Reddish stop spouting rubbish- you have found out very little except to speculate - dont confuse your own opinion with facts!! teemore - 4 Sep'10 - 15:20 - 12131 of 13284 They are not considering any paper except the paper which is necessary to put the financial package in place to finance the development of the mine The only think that concerns me is people like youself ('Jonny come lately') coming on this board posting rubbish in pretence of fact- you obviously think everyone is a fool like yourself! Where were you for the past 7-8 years? and how many different alias have you posted under? - no need to answer as it would be a lie! teemore - 4 Sep'10 - 16:26 - 12138 of 13284 Quote form Reddish: 'If I wanted to state the source I would have said so' Nobody cares about your source as the source is yourself!!! I assume and hope that Jt has no intention of selling for peanuts or indeed in recommending anything close to 60p. As I said before he controls the company and it is up to himself and fellow directors to recommend or not recommend and I do not see him playing games. A few people like yourself have appeared on this board recently who have inside information just like yourself!!!!!! Your continous posting of rubbish remind me of some other poster teemore - 4 Sep'10 - 17:01 - 12140 of 13284 Reddish posting rubbish again - fact! You know very little about the Company and you certaintly have no inside information as nobody would trust you with such!! Stop making up nonsense about legal team etc as that fools nobody teemore - 4 Sep'10 - 22:34 - 12152 of 13284 The Mullagh - Quite adament that the content of what he is posting is rubbish teemore - 9 Sep'10 - 01:32 - 12367 of 13284 chapchip - some rubbish being posted -all speculation and I hope that JT does not allow the company to be taken out for peanuts or paper! | reddish tinge
05/10/2010 17:30 | Reddish - still longing for your soother. Anyone out there who could give the child a dummpy or soother??? before he breaks down!! What Red does not realise is that if all the Afd holders went buying into Luc then the share would rocket -poor child! | teemore
05/10/2010 17:19 | "however I would have been unhappy to be selling below 100p cash which is what would have happened with a cash offer." What a moronic statement. The idiot would have been unhappy with a say 95p cash offer but quite satisfied at an all paper offer - which the market isnt even valuing anywhere near the touted value. What this idiot Teemore doesnt want to think about is that a cash offer at even 60p would mean he could still dump the shares at near 60p and with the proceeds allowed him to buy into LUC and get his AK6 mine play. | reddish tinge
05/10/2010 17:12 | Vik - I have been in this from beginning at well below the current price, however I would have been unhappy to be selling below 100p cash which is what would have happened with a cash offer. I also would have been unhappy with a paper offer from anyone else except Luc for a number of reasons. I am quite happy to hold Luc stock in the deal that is being progressed for a number of reasons (a) We still have ak6 (under a different name)and value in Luc should be as easy (or easier) to attain once we go into production (b) Luc is a fledging well run company with a low capital base which should give a quick return to the real asset value as production takes place in both mines (c)Jt was never a miner (or indeed going to be one) while the Lundin group have a very good track record. In practice it would may been difficult having strong characters working alongside each other (Luc/AFD) On the specific issue of wanting much more: I do not like to sell anything at a multipe below its asset value and this has not been sold if you are happy as I am transfering into Luc shares. I would say that Luc are as much undervalued as Afd were so nobody looses | teemore
05/10/2010 16:28 | teemore What is your opinion of the deal? You clearly are one who wanted much more. | vikramarahaji
05/10/2010 16:06 | Buck post 13431 - totally agree with your comments. I am more than happy with the Lucara situation but personally, I would like to see them try and sell the other prospective licences and add the proceeds to the cash pile and then return to shareholders. My concern with the BE element is exactly the same as with AFD, funding to take things forward. I cannot see 2.9m lasting long and I doubt it will get much exploration activity completed. Just my opinion, but I think the Lucara component adds confidence that we will ultimately see a reward. Rainfall - the Barc thread has been full of your accusations in respect to their exec management being liars, so seems odd you would invest with your stated principles. Anyway, good luck and hopefully you will recover these losses quickly. | danny111
05/10/2010 15:47 | teemore - 5 Oct'10 - 13:57 - 13437 of 13452 Has anyone a soother to give to Reddish??!!!!! and maybe it would control his nerves ____________________ Teeling has it at the moment...especially after the current deal he's hatched up for shareholders.... | twao
05/10/2010 15:40 | rainfall, look at the price of gold, and the trend. You could make lots of money buying that. | arf dysg
05/10/2010 15:38 | vik stagnant money makes nothing . that is the end good luck to you all off to malta | rainfall
05/10/2010 15:36 | was not going to post but .i put more money into lloys at 72.89p now nigh on 76p up 3450 pounds will sell before close .and start again tomorrow te other money i put in barc up 8p not selling them | rainfall
05/10/2010 15:30 | I still cannot see why rainfall sold now. Surely selling once the new shares in BE and LUC were in his hands would have made more sense. Say 51p instead of todays price. For someone purportedly so rich he does not seem to be the sharpest knife in the drawer. | vikramarahaji
05/10/2010 15:19 | However, it seems AFD MD James Campbell may opt out of Botswana Exploration and move to Lucara. Having James Campbell at Lucara would add even more credence to an already excellent company. The future looks very bright for Lucara with AK6 and Mothae. Botswana Exploration has a lot of potential also. I would imagine a deal will be done to mine AK8 off the back of the AK6 infrastructure creating a nice earner for BE. "Those interests include $2.9m in cash, exploration ground in Botswana including the AK8, AK9 and BK5 kimberlite pipes, advanced stage diamond licence applications in the Marange area of Zimbabwe and licence applications in Cameroon as well as indirect exposure to diamond plays in West Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo." | the_curmudgeon |
