04/10/2010 21:35 | If things don't change and no other bidder appears on the scene, can anyone recommend a broker that deals in TSX. | varrirob
04/10/2010 20:39 | Good to see LUC's share price a little higher. | hatto
04/10/2010 20:37 | euclid - I have always felt that the real value of AK6 can only be achieved when we are a couple of years into production and it is now a two way bet 'Mothae and AK6' (I was never interested in 50p,70p or indeed 120p). The rich pickings will be the eventual ratio /percentage of Type 11's | teemore
04/10/2010 20:05 | "Lucara is pleased to report that a 53.5 carat, white Type IIA diamond has been recovered in the first week of production at the Company's Mothae mine in Lesotho." Anyone object to having 26.57% of that? | euclid
04/10/2010 19:42 | Reddish - has someone stolen your lollipop??? Ak6 is a world class diamond mine in the process of development | teemore
04/10/2010 19:17 | "Shareholders are perfectly entitled to their own opinion." As are non shareholders. It's called freedom of expression in case you had forgotten. | reddish tinge
04/10/2010 19:14 | JT didn't price the AK6 of AFD at 44.5p. LUC did. If AFD were having problems raising the finance, it doesn't stop AK6 from being a world-class diamond mine. At least with LUC shares and the bank in tow, you will still be a part of the mine. On the other hand, he may be trying to smoke other bidders out of the woodwork, who, reportedly have been sniffing around, hence the $1 million get-out clause. aimho. | yarisverso
04/10/2010 18:44 | Message came up twice! Hope u have the same luck Pat!!! | eddieohare1
04/10/2010 18:41 | The gruesome twosome of Reddish Tinge and pat mustard irl appear together..how unsurprising. Nice of you to be so concerned about me all the time, Reddish Tinge/Abu Hannah/ twao...and pat mustard irl/simon self/...to name but a few. Shareholders are perfectly entitled to their own opinion. I don't think the bid is a good one, either.Waiting for the next bid, now! | mclellan
04/10/2010 18:23 | mc certainly wont like all the sudden Teeling derampers. | reddish tinge
04/10/2010 18:17 | eddieohare1 - 4 Oct'10 - 17:50 - 13332 of 13332 Uchimata ya see we dont have to listen to Teelings comments any more...thats the big bonus we r goin to be run by a professional business who have an excellent reputation :-) .................... O' Dear! its eddieohare how quare! I thought you wus a a Clontarf Rd groupie Edward? Why the change of heart? Has yer pocket suddenly got that empty feeling after all those years of worshipping at the throne of David & John? | pat mustard irl
04/10/2010 17:50 | Uchimata ya see we dont have to listen to Teelings comments any more...thats the big bonus we r goin to be run by a professional business who have an excellent reputation :-) Take a wee look at Lucara Mothae soon to be in production and not long for AK6 PLUS diamond prices r hittin excellent prices once again ;-) | eddieohare1

04/10/2010 17:39 | Does anyone remember the hype presented by JT et al when "spinning off" WAD? Personally, I think the PI shareholders have not been well served with this deal. There is no evidence that LUC will be any better in share price over time, and 7p for shares in a new prospeciting company run by the same Directors who have just let the rest of us down is not and attractive proposition. As LUC is a TSX share, I expect that holders will have to transfer to brokers who can deal in that market. A "forced sell off" of the LUC holding to transfer to other brokers is probable - at lower than correct market valuation...see what happened to PLAA share when they de-listed from AIM to be held in PLA.ASX. | uchimata
04/10/2010 17:36 | Alot of trades showing up as being delayed r after hours could anyone work out the total buying and selling to day?...personally i think this is a great deal because AFD were havin problem raising the cash to finance the mine. Would long term holders have prefered more dilution cus i no i deffo would not have wanted that!! The other mine Mothae that Lucara have is excellent and work has begun on that already: first day they pull a 53.5 carat diamond out of the ground!! I am well happy we r being run by professionals who know exactly what they are doing...may b this is actually a positive move for ALL shareholders in this current economic climate! (only my opinion) | eddieohare1
04/10/2010 17:18 | Arf Dysg (13309) "AZ209, didn't I see you on the RRR board on Friday, concocting a posting that looked like it came from someone else? Naughty, naughty!" AZ209 (13311) "Not Guilty !" That's funny, how do you explain this? Maybe someone else has been using your computer... QUOTE AZ209 - 1 Oct'10 - 13:10 - 14892 of 15299 Bunky3 - 1 Oct'10 - 13:11 - 14893 of 14893 well, I've decided to cash in the chips and sell the lot. UNQUOTE The lines beginning with "Bunky3" were part of your post and the "Bunky3" was in blue in bold so it looked like the start of his posting when actually it was part of yours. Funnily enough, those who looked at it later saw that it had been edited so as to remove everything. How interesting. | arf dysg
04/10/2010 16:57 | I may buy some more tomorrow depending on freeing up funds. | vikramarahaji
04/10/2010 16:25 | Undecided - fair point, as I say it is somewhat of a disappointment. One small point though, the 0.445p was the valuation for AK6, the rest will be spun into the new venture. Now whether any of that supposed 7p value will ever be realised is another point, but I still believe we have more chance of increased shareholder value in LUC than we would have in AFD, particularly if there were issues with future funding. Purely personal opinion and it wouldn't be the first time I've got it wrong :-)!!!, but good luck to all holders regardless of their decision. | danny111
04/10/2010 16:16 | Danny the point is that even if there was a behind the scenes incentive for JT he has placed a value of 0.445p per share on the value of afd at this presnt moment in time. His value not ours. Now we can all move forward with "a world class mine" scenario but he obviously now does'nt hold that view himself any longer. I don't buy into being part of this bigger picture and as Luc develops the mine we as shareholders will benefit by the share price rising. Fool me once, more fool you. Fool me twice more fool me. No doubt in the fullness of time the individual benefit to JT and co will come out in the meantime they can go f*#* themselves. | undecided
04/10/2010 16:16 | wirralfinance- I sent that to CURRY so he can forward it to you. At least your emails weren't sort of threatening ones! Some of the ratbags operating on ADVFN have to be read to be believed! | mclellan |
