Well dwrez .seem to think other wise . We ll se what happen . Even the parent company wants to get rid of this .And they are insiders and know everthing about the company . So it they want out . What can clueless investors assume?

Robrah, you should have known there would be no taper if you had done your research.

Then you wouldn't have needed to waste everyone's time with your de-ramping dirge.

Think the cash cost is somewhat deceiving think theAll-in sustaining cost per ounce sold ("AISC") of US$1,416Is the figure you want to use and is likely to be the new industry standard ....that should come down with the cost savings and operational improvements but the company is currently losing money and that cash pile will be depleted with POG at these levels.Company has high operational gearing to a rising POG but could well drift further with gold again coming under pressure.Personally bullish on gold and confused as to market reaction to Summers standing aside...maybe just positions being squared now Middle East is sorted once and for all :)Number of PM producers smacked badly today havent got to e bottom of reason yet!

what, c $903 oz before delivering the $100m cash cuts this year? They've also written down $727 million due to lower gold price @$1300, so depreciation going forward will be less. Every miner has high costs, it's a high cost game but a margin of $400 on cash costs is relatively healthy. Plus, ABG has one of the best EV/EBITDA ratios in the business. According to its current ratio of 2.98 is significantly lower than its peer group median of 7.45. (meaning it is good value)

25% is lucky . Considering the price of gold fell so hard . Oprating cost too high .will struggle if price of gold does not recover . May be even back to 2 digits .

It is hardly surprising the coo went...the new CEO has been appointed to improve operational performance and the coo has overseen many mess ups over past 3 years...so new guy wants his team so is sweeping out some legacy appointments.Probably a positive...however company still has its issues so not a buyer over 150p unless the gold price rerates.

I got out also on that news today, so often when a CEO/COO leaves in haste there is un-foreseen bad news around the corner.

They just changed the CEO a few weeks back too. Hopefully not another ENRC. I regret my 145 sell, but this isn't the sort of share to help you sleep at night.

There was a great opportunity to buy this when it skimmed £1. Unfortunately I did not see it. The recent 50% rise has broken through the 200wma, but is looking to me in need to a pullback before the real potential bull phase can begin. Fwiw, imho. I am overweight pms.
