11/4/2011 17:18 | Deltrotter ! It's somewhat churlish of you to refer to me as " the previous poster" when all and sundry are aware that we are first cousins !! | parthus
11/4/2011 16:31 | Is this the same as a "kefi" imminent ??!!!!!!! | parthus
11/4/2011 16:27 | In the meantime, gather ye rosebuds while ye may. | horneblower
11/4/2011 15:51 | Just spoke to the company and got the same message as previous poster. TSX sent something out in a bulletin that had an error in it. They need to reissue the bulleting and then trading will resume. Bulletin reissue should be imminent... | deltrotter
11/4/2011 15:05 | I agree .. I don't see any announcement either... | parthus
11/4/2011 14:55 | i see no lift on the trading halt in canada | j1nxed
11/4/2011 14:54 | That's not a bad sized piggy bank you have there gold rush ;-) | cupra kid
11/4/2011 14:47 | Thanks for the great posts over the week end and today. Raided the piggy bank and topped up with 10k @189.3 just now which I consider to be a great price....Let's see where we are in a years time.... Good luck to all. g | goldrush
11/4/2011 14:44 | Lets see what happens now: | deltrotter
11/4/2011 14:14 | MaxCashflow (9001) "Evo use the term 'geologically weighted'." We should suggest to them that they use "geograpically weighted", i.e. it's close to a railway line. That would give us a bigger factor. :) | arf dysg
11/4/2011 14:13 | Agree with you j1nxed Discount rate of 12,5% is high and give more confidence on NPV | franciso1
11/4/2011 14:09 | @franciso1 the CAPEX part is usually not the variable that affects the NPV the most, it's not uncommon to see a +-20% in Revenue/OPEX effect the NPV more than a +-40% increase in the CAPEX. I reckon the NPV would be a tad higher for nkout because it would have better margins due to the high FE content, while a 100% owned putu would have a higher NPV than nkout simply because they don't have to give the government a 10% free carry trade and they aim for a cost of around $40/t since they would probably own the railway | j1nxed
11/4/2011 13:25 | francisco - thank you. Excellent info to think about: Sundance NPV of US$4.3bn at 12.5% disc rate. Affrero current m cap US$280m. | longsight
11/4/2011 13:07 | Look at Sundance NPV for Cameroon (+4b$ at 12.5% discount rate) You must add the cost of port and railway to the 4B$ And add 40% of 4 b$ for Putu But it is more because only 100Km of railway Sommary NPV 4b$ plus port and railways 2,5 b$ = 6,5 B$ Plus Putu 40% X 4 B$ = 1,6 B$ plus Railway economy only 100Km(2 B$ for sundance for 500km) | franciso1
11/4/2011 12:30 | A brief mention in the FT | donska
11/4/2011 12:22 | @MaxCashflow that just means they're taking using the total amount of ore and multiplying it by the grade to get a 100% iron resource. My numbers are simply resource that is JORCed and does not come form extending the pit shell on any of their assets | j1nxed
11/4/2011 12:20 | Risk multiple of 2 then. | allstar_07
11/4/2011 12:16 | Interesting though curt3 - would be nice if Pan African and Cluff market caps were similar to the gold side at AUE. | nomunnofun
11/4/2011 12:14 | Evo use the term 'geologically weighted'. I'd bet that they apply a discount to ore that is deep, or in poor geological positions, and only give the 100% factor to ore that is more likely to be cheaply extractable. | maxcashflow |
