I have £14.5k of Afren and a kitkat wrapper.

I have over £50K of Afren in my pension wrapper (SIPP) as they do allow investment in AIM stocks.

I personally wouldn't put a penny into pension unless you have to purely from an investment prospective though.

Try these specialist boards over on TMF. The general consensus on pension versus other retirement saving eg ISAs is that it depends on the contributions made by your employer. Eg. if they match (or better) your contributions then it would seem churlish to not take their cash ;-)

Have a look at these pensions boards to get the flavour of Qs & As and post a specific question there.



As for whether to put your future AFR fortune into a pension wrapper, then that's a different question, although SIPPs provide for this facility.

Johnny, you seriously need more advice. I recommend www.fool.co.uk pension discussion boards. Read the boards and your questions may already have been answered.
