mkt cap 8.74 million, tempted to avderage down but they better start doing something, this is bloody lame. with the other half of uru in shares brings it level with the mkt cap, so what else do they have?

By my reckoning AFNR currently has around £2.7m in cash, after selling BMN and MEY and investing in CDC. The URU divvy will add another £2.7m.

Cheers,

Mark

Does anyone know off the top of their head how much cash we're supposed to have now after the disposals?

This company will be in line for a dividend from its URU holding which should provide a strong cash position....plus a further divi is possible in the near future.....

Perhaps we should request a special egm and request that we have some NWT board members. That might kick start the board into doing something!

Just when you thought it couldn't fall any further......
The BOD plainly don't give a stuff for ordinary PIs.

yep,

on the surface this loks a complete waste of time and i sadly initially bought twice as many here as range...but like gowboy, no point in selling, something might just come up but i hope this isnt one of those situations where the directors just pick up an easy pay cheque. but one thing is for sure, this aint no BAO, GCM of GKP is it?

Know what your saying tmm but I would find it hard to understand why DJW would even bother with this unless he had something in the pipeline? whether this has anything to do with the EXT story unfolding or something else, who knows. All I know is that my holding has taken such a beating that I'm just leaving it here until the change around - I believe it will come, could just be a long time coming......

Problem is, with the likes of PRL and EML trading at massive discounts to cash and cash equivelents, what chance has AFNR got.

Yes be pretty damn strange if they didnt......lol........all part of the EXT evolving story. The plan has to be to invest in EXT through URU, wait for the story to unfold, which may not be that far away and then take the cash to make a larger investment/takeover?

If Afnr spent the cash from MEY and BMN on URU they could buy c. 5 000 000 more shares, taking their stake in URU from c. 11% to c.16%.
And for some reason, I expect Afnr to vote with the board of URU against NWT.

Actually the more likely and whats posted on the KAH bb is that Afnat will purchase more URU shares to block the NWT action....
