I used to have a lot of respect for dear old del, but now he just acts like a wind up merchant or paid stooge for LdS.

sad

How will they get the cash to pay out? Use their 'asset' as backing?

They still owe me and many others 40p+ interest a share. Not my fault they made a bad deal, given the macro picture. Will they cough up or not?

Will IMIC still be around next year? We royally shafted them with our assets. They are worse than worthless.

That's all well and good - will we still get the value of our loan notes next year? Thoughts anyone?

Looks like things may be going full circle here in time for the next iron ore boom. If LDS comes back at least he knows what he's in for. I for one would back him.

Santorini sounds a great place for an AGM!

That would be great nick!

speedsgh, definitely go. I've been wanting to for ages and spotted a brilliant deal with voyageprive.com well worth looking at their website for offers there. You have to 'join' but it's free. I paid just under £2k for the two of us for ten days incl flights from Manchester. We stayed in a village called Oia (pronounced Eeya) which I would say is the best place on the island to stay. Our hotel, Villa Katikies was fantastic. Pay the extra for a suite (we were in room 3 which I think was the best. Breakfast of your choice is served at a time of your choice on your balcony every morning... bliss! I can recommend some great restaurants if you go.

True, LOND are bust and AMI struggling badly.
Perhaps we were lucky after all! :)

Incredible times Nick.

From what I heard - Luis was all for not selling out but the BOD didn't see any future. Turns out, in the medium term, they were dead right. I shudder to think what price we would be at now having burned the cash away on a resource no-one wants.

I keep an eye on LOND on AMI shareprices (the former doesnt seem to move much nowadays).

Hope you're well Del.

Shame we were robbed here. It's always nice to get out with a profit
but it could have been so much better. Just going over old ground.

The good old days...... :)

Good to see you Nick!

Imagine if Luis turns up at IMIC. Having presented them with a worthless asset.

Announcement by Aureus Mining (AUE) this morning...

APPOINTMENT OF KARIN IRETON AND RESIGNATION OF LUIS DA SILVA -

"On behalf of the Board, I would also like to thank Luis for his long term commitment to the growth and development of the Company and his valuable contribution to the Board. We wish Luis well in his new ventures."

I wonder what 'new ventures' Mr Da Silva has up his sleeve?

Crikey - looks like AFF shareholder dumped a bad un on IMIC. Thank goodness the LDS got us out when he did.

Arise Sir da Silva!
