The "official" bid price is merely what's indicated on the SETS order book. The price you're being quoted above that indicated price comes from the MMs little side trading system (RSP) which operates independently of SETS. Your broker takes quotes from whichever system offers best value, SETS or the MMs. Does make you wonder why the MMs don't match their quotes to SETS. Guess the misinformation helps to skew things in their favour.

Amazing share price movement this. usually you will see a chart drop after 3 days of successive rises but its not happening here! I have seen this behaviour last with REM and way back with PXS.

You know it's SETS because you get AT trades going though outside of Auctions. Apart from that the LSE website tells you which trading system companies trade under. AIM stocks can use SETS if it suits the company.

Blimey ... this is a SETS share. There is no mid price with SETS, the share price is simply the last AT trade. No AT trades for ages even though the bid/offer prices have changed as orders are changed = share price doesn't move. The monkeys could simply chuck an AT at the book to tidy things up, but they're playing games so they haven't bothered. Can't believe people place their bets on a market when they don't even understand how the trading systems work.

AIM market improving....It would improve a lot more if the chancellor removed any CGT on shares held longer than 5years which would also increase stability in the market.

SP seems to be held....the very large trade 780k @28.7p is holding up the share price must be causing mm's problems to fill, and are unable to drop the mid price, which seems above buy/sell.
