09/2/2012 16:36 | NT have you a reference for the Tees Valley project ? I was about to amend my comment on the capacity of the FC based on capillary tube supply ,you can get a lot of gas through a small tube , left it to see if it provoked any comment . | broshm
09/2/2012 15:38 | broshm, Its an old photo and an old news report but I thought the picture may be of interest. Not the same as the latest Beta system currently on test with Akzo Nobel in Germany. Awaiting the Annual Results on 20th February. Bought forward by three weeks this year so looks like they are eager to give an update. Did you notice Air Products were granted planning permission last year for the Tees Valley (Hersham) Power Station? Stage 2 will use AFC fuel cells on hydrogen from municipal solid waste. | new tech
09/2/2012 15:33 | August 2010. Maybe they've painted it silver by now. | archie meads
09/2/2012 15:30 | Thanks for the info NT . Bloody typical , we get no news from the Company and then something is found & its not exactly a sales picture . Difficult to know what if anything in the picture is a fuel cell ? IS it the 2 yellow boxes held together with a transport tie ? no wonder we see no sale promotion , not quite ready for that yet ! If the gas is fed through the capillary tube I dont think there will be enough energy to like a bicycle lamp ?. | broshm
09/2/2012 12:44 | Not seen this photograph before. | new tech
08/2/2012 11:37 | Just because I like you JakNife I thought I would pass on your published views to Allenby's So I await their comments and I will pass them on Mate. Cheers Teacher of all Teachers | rovi57
08/2/2012 11:25 | Of course it's relevant, as you keep posting on here and are very negative to say the least. Yes or NO? | k1ngkonggb
08/2/2012 11:20 | JakNife, Do you hold any AFC shares? A simple YES or NO will suffice! | k1ngkonggb
08/2/2012 08:35 | Predicted revenues for 2012 of £1.2m suggest commercial sales expected this year. 2012 could be the inflexion point for the share price. | new tech
07/2/2012 08:43 | Tests which have been running (assuming uninterrupted operation) for a broadly similar amount of hours..... | fredd
06/2/2012 16:26 | Ianous , hope it is not that bad !! It would though be good to get some update on the AFC tests . | broshm
06/2/2012 16:16 | Broshm - oh well it was good whilst it lasted but now that Solvey have run their FC then we might as well all get our coats and pack up. Oh well not to worry, it was fun whilst it lasted but the towel has been thrown in, the fat lady has sung, the cookie has well and truely crumbled, the bird in the hand has flown, the chef has got drunk and vomited in the broth blardyblardy blah. | ianous
06/2/2012 15:57 | Has AFC lost the race ? just seen that Solvey have run a 1MW ,PEM FC for 800 hours . Would be nice to have some similar news from AFC as their cell must have run more than a month ?? | broshm
06/2/2012 15:21 | jak- sorry whats the point of your comment. Is it "be careful" we dont know how the tests are going in Germany and will we have positive news before the next fund raising? Or are you saying something else? Its a gamble!! With long odds at the moment. For those of you with b...s good luck. For the cautious, not for you I guess. | holism
06/2/2012 15:20 | I love you a little bit as well J-N one of life's good guys who cares for all of us,you must be a politician or a lawyer or even a teacher of teacher's | rovi57
06/2/2012 14:28 | jaknife funny you should slag off Allenby Cap yet the figures you quoted are almost identical to the Key Data table in their report on AFC from Aug 2011 the same report which says at the end ..... "It should be noted that near-term revenue numbers are of little importance in the case of companies like AFC that are engaged in commercialising disruptive technologies targeting mainstream markets. Of far more relevance to investors are achievement of technology roll-out milestones and a controlled cash burn rate, both of which AFC are executing well". Look at what Allenby estimate AFC's Yr 2012 revenue of £1.2 million, up 1100% on Yr 2011. | always happy
06/2/2012 13:54 | Jaknife - why would we disagree with your figures, they look about right to me. However they only show half the story, to value the company you also need to consider IP value and'potential'. Otherwise nearly every development, exploration abd research company on the AIM would only be worth their net asset value and the market would grind to a halt. Anyway good try, you can definately come back on the 20th to say 'i told you so', to which my rely will be 'yes you did you big clever shaggy dog' love ya | ianous |
