10/11/2009 22:41 | TD Waterhouse not appearing too optmistic at the moment. My nominee holding is now valued at £0.00. Realistic perhaps - as some have said anything from this mess would appear a bonus now. | bizochio
10/11/2009 13:05 | There is little choice is there ? Anyone tracked down the stock ? | hvs
10/11/2009 12:57 | agree 100% nuts | redips2
09/11/2009 18:23 | IOMHere - no, stock valuation doesn't work like that. (For one, they sell the inventory for more than they paid for it so there is margin included on the sales invoice that is not factored into the stock value in the accounts). Plus, the valuation of stock in the accounts is net of a provision. | cjdrum
09/11/2009 16:57 | hvs, we can read and understand what you say, without you persistently overdoing the CAPITAL LETTERS. | tday
09/11/2009 16:03 | Very sorry for your loss. These IDIOTS need to be BROUGHT TO BOOK. They should "account" ANOTHER F.D. speak for HOW MUCH MONEY THE so CALLED "MANAGEMENT HAVE POCKETED" No regard for SHAREHOLDERS. All MADE IN THE CITY. | hvs
09/11/2009 15:15 | Chaps, sorry to say in my own mind I've written off my holding and if I get any back it'll be a bonus. I'd like to pleasantly surprised. Glad of one thing though... always spread your risk. luchan. | luchan
09/11/2009 14:23 | hvs, there will be stock, but that stated on the accounts... they can't have no stock.... Management can be brought in.. Lets face nobody here knows the scale of the problem...FACT.. luchan. | luchan
09/11/2009 13:18 | WHAT STOCK ???? The "MANAGEMENT" dont seem to have a clue on quantity or value . | hvs
09/11/2009 13:09 | Yes, banks could take possession of stock, but what would they do with it? Best people to dispose of it are AI. despite their failings. It may be an AI. that is not owned by us anymore though. | 40kj
09/11/2009 12:46 | Luchan, Cannot see the bank supporting this as seems like there is NO MANAGEMENT. Just a MADE IN THE CITY , stuff the SHAREHOLDERS "COMPANY". | hvs
09/11/2009 12:30 | hvs, hope u are not trying to de-ramp the share price lol... I doesn't seem to be affecting the share price too much so far..lol luchan. | luchan
09/11/2009 07:55 | They have said they mispriced the stock and that stock on the books has gone walkies. How much stock is a mystery. They have also said that they are in breach of bank covenents. They have also said that they are unable to prepare accounts even though they paid their so called Finance Firector £ 500K. Is there anything I missed ? | hvs

08/11/2009 15:18 | Evaluate Going back to 1837 & 1838, I'm no accountant but I assume that when parts are bought they are correctly invoiced and similarly when they are sold. Wouldn't these invoices be taken to their relevant customer ledger accounts and the balance totals from the ledgers give the value of stock for company account purposes? I ask this because stock-taking (another assumption coming) has to be based on more than a comparison of physical stock with warehouse stock records since that would give only a partial picture. If my assumptions are true and if, as they say, fraud or theft hasn't taken place then they might be in a mess that has cost implications to sort but they shouldn't otherwise have lost stock value. If I'm wrong or there has been fraud or theft on any scale then the company looks buggared. | iomhere
08/11/2009 14:00 | gg-- where did you here this? | redips2
08/11/2009 13:59 | At least the DTI's Companies Investigation Branch doesn't appear to be getting involved!! Does that mean THAT THEY ARE SLEEPING AT THE JOB ???? Stuffing shareholders seems to be the NORM . | hvs
08/11/2009 13:56 | Aero said that questions about whether it could continue as a going concern would be addressed when the annual results, due out a number of weeks ago, were eventually released. | ggekk0
08/11/2009 13:54 | A company spokesman said that Aero was not the subject of any regulatory investigation. At least the DTI's Companies Investigation Branch doesn't appear to be getting involved!! | ggekk0
07/11/2009 11:58 | Not better than Lewin and Bevan. They made HAY and never kept STOCK. The "Chairman" seems to have laughed all the way to the bank as well. Another example of Made in tyhe CITY for the CITY and STUFF THE SHAREHOLDERS. | hvs
07/11/2009 09:01 | Dodge ans Swag, great combination? | philo124 |
