Due for a good rise - oversold.
Resistance at 107p and once again bounce back - should get back to the 115-118p.

Gerard

This would be a better thread than the old if you had included the news and fundamental data.
Perhaps that's why there are no comments on today's results.

Favourable comment in FT today rumour of merger with Bollore group. This preferable to merely having Bollore nominee on board.

On the contrary I think a partnership with the Bollore Group is in the pipeline and globally both companies will benefit from it.
As far as the share price is concerned, if we go through the 124p yr-high price, we could go to 140-150p rapidly, with the yr-end figures are due out in 2 weeks time.
Fasten your seat belt.

Have been a holder of Aegis for many years. They are now showing some upward movement. Main problem with the share price has been it seems to me the 29% holding by the French company who are major rivals of Aegis. I have lost track of the number of years Aegis shareholders have had to fight off the French company effort to put a man on Aegis board. Whilst Aegis stays independent they can /will do well. Maybe at last French company have given up trying?

whilst also being bullish on aegis how did you get hold of these erroneous profit levels-the assets are much lower than you have stated and you have overblown the profit they make 10 fold -i think you have put the decimal point in the wrong place

Will go through the 115p over the next few days, then, if it stays there, could reach the 145p.

I thought I would start a new thread as I am extremely bullish on Aegis.
I think this looks like a very sound investment.

Aegis Media is the world's leading independent media communications network. It employs over 9,000 people in 70 countries around the world.
All four of Aegis Media's major brands are world-leading marketing and communications businesses:
• Carat is the world's largest independent media communications company, present in 82 countries across the world.
• Vizeum, our challenger media brand, has a pioneering approach to communications.
• Isobar is the world's first global digital network, and one of the largest; dedicated to creating time for consumers to spend with brands.
• Posterscope is the out-of-home sector leader, and the only truly global network, constantly pushing the technological boundaries.

I am hoping for a positve announcement at year-end (31st Dec).

A close of 116.5p will do for today. +1% a day is all I need.
...but the test will be at 120p.
If it goes through then could go to 145p.
Anybody holding AGS?
I seem to talking to myself :-)
