Thanks for the tip, wondered how to get to the new style home page when logged in.

I really like the Market Movers and Big Movers, always on the hunt for bad news stocks.

Good to see much needed investment in the website, it could attract more visitors with a new lick of paint.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion @smurfy2001, you can use the new homepage design any time by clicking "Home" in Front Page Selector. That should change your settings to use the new version even whilst logged in.

I don't know why anyone pays any attention to the downticks - they seem entirely arbitrary. Even the upticks are rather pointless unless you're coming here in the hope of getting your ego massaged.

MC, I'm pretty sure it would make more sense if we could all up/down or not as appropriate.

Generally, with the existing system, I don't think they are especially valid, although a downtick is a bit annoying if you have gone to some effort to post something genuine!

bamboo2: with respect, any poster can up-tick. I do appreciate that only blue (paying) posters can down-tick. My suggestion still has merit though for the reasons I've stated.

Given that this board is designed for Ideas and Suggestions I'll give it a shot:

On some threads (PHNX Moderated is one) one or more down-tickers prowls the posts. There's little logic to it - just EVERYONE gets down-ticked. this has the effect of diminishing the value of a genuine downtick and causes unwarranted discussion on the aspect.

IDEA: How about displaying in a posters Profile the number of down-ticks and up-ticks issued thus far.

When you private message you need to click the boxes on an image that contain certain items.
That wouldn't be ideal for every post but a random request for such when posting would probably stop the bots.

Wouldn't stop the human plonkers though :-)

Could someone please have a look at the financial information given on Karelian Diamonds KDR ADVFN are showing this as having a market cap of 277.45 Million the actual market cap should be 3.59 million.
Shares issued and outstanding
94,492,749 at 3.8P is 3.59 million
