will be getting a letter from me expressing my anger at that give away. I always vote against any motion to allow a company to allot shares for cash.

The great thing about having your holding in CREST rather than a nominee company is that it is much easier to make your presence felt.

They've been bunged 2 free warrants along with the 20% discount, why wouldn't the the institutions be happier........certainly happier than the PI's.

Always looked like they'd need to raise further though so no surprise.

"APC Technology Group PLC, the provider of technologies and services to improve organisational sustainability and operational performance and the specialist distributor of electronic components, is pleased to announce that it has conditionally raised £1.1 million (before expenses) by way of a placing of 13,750,000 ordinary shares of 2 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Placing Shares"), together with two warrants for every five Placing Shares issued (the "Placing"). The issue price is 8 pence per Placing Share (the "Issue Price")."

but 33.3% up on last placing so the institutions must feel that something is going right -

Thanks rinson. I have been following APC for many years, in fact since they bought Novacom. Novacom used to be a customer of mine and have their offices a few miles up the road from me.
IOT will be huge and the quicker APC can build traction in the space the better.
Like you I liked BH's recent conversion which gives him a reportable 3% holding.
Hopefully we are in for an interesting few months ahead. ATB

Simonparker: since the new broker has been on board there has been a welcome steady increase in the share price so yes charts may indicate a breakout. In reality for that to happen we need to see shares traded hold the levels seen today which must soon cause a shortage of stock. With BH increasing his shareholding through loan note conversion and now as Playful points out expanding his interest in Building Management it may enable more business to come our way. And just one final point on the conversion, it was executed at the current price, not discounted. BH must have been very keen to get hold of that stock!IOT is arguably the next big thing and we are also very well positioned in this arena with engineering expertise and an extensive product offering. Insidious in build up it will offer explosive growth at some point in time during the next two years. With so many political uncertainties around many things are beyond companies control but given a fair wind maybe the breakout will become a reality.

I have put APC forward for a company presentation event later this year with Sharesoc which will hopefully be in Leeds. If last night was anything to go by it should be well attended and will help increase our profile within Yorkshire.

Definitely in the right area regarding Distribution which can only increase IMO. However, again IMO, the Minimise Group is the only part of the Company that can cause a major shift in the share price To date the announcements concerning Minimise have been somewhat conservative and have proven ineffective. With 5/6ths of the years trading under their belts no mention of a rerating, other than Cantor's unexplained adjustment to their target, yet Distribution orders have been ramping both in expectation and reality judging from numerous RNS throughout the year. Does this mean that the Minimise forecast set before the prior year end will be less than expected? If not why no increase in expectation?

It will be interesting to see what Stockdale's analyst has to say!
