03/10/2003 14:43 | No worries - very high volume day today, AIT apprears to be attracting some outside interest - some very good performers including AZM - Intresting announcement on GMN, looks positive tho | baker man
03/10/2003 11:44 | Thanks for the info, Baker Man | ilancas
03/10/2003 11:33 | Cazenove have increased their NMS to 10,000 which should help liquidity | baker man
29/9/2003 08:21 | Cazenove bidding it up this morn after a poor week in the markets - although from a TA perspective there is no resistance above, i dont think this counts as essentially its a new company - The market cap at a guess is in excess of £100m this may take it out of the FTSE fledgling status & into small caps & may attact new institutional buying - Just speculation tho ! | baker man
25/9/2003 17:15 | I think we are winning with NAV now 103p..of course ISIS hold a chunk but I believe they trade off their website and won't be dumping. Now at nearly 30% discount so a jump of 5% wouldn't be rocket science. Online buy now limited to 5000 but plain fact is these are overlooked, with many previous Aim Trust traders wondering what happened to it, now they are dipping in the market again. Just my opinion. | banovallum
24/9/2003 10:41 | Well looks like the seller has cleared, took a quick look at their portfolio this morn - some good performers from CHO, NET, CAH & AZM | baker man
24/9/2003 07:46 | Well, I'm on board waiting for it to be "discovered". | ilancas
24/9/2003 07:21 | >ilancas - yes, couldnt agree more - this is even more evident if you take a look at their annual results on page 2, 3PC traded on its own at a 15.3% premium to its NAV as of 31st May 2002 but on the 31st May 2003 it was trading at a discount of 19.5% (now 21%) - thats close on a 40% overall move in the share price or 28p. This combined with the cash/unquoted companies I believe give this trust a significant potential upside. Over the past few days its clear a seller has been present, there were several 100k trades yesterday - once this overhang has cleared i dont see any resistance - interesting to note that one of the mms has increased his NMS to 5k - on the subject of AZM I see this AM they have made a further positve announcement. >rambutan2 - no worries | baker man
23/9/2003 17:52 | This IT is seriously out of favour isn't it? Does anyone know why? It's stocks look like gems to me. | ilancas
23/9/2003 14:50 | thanks baker man. yes, thats why the vc stuff partic interested me. i knew the quoted aim holding pretty much. i will do some digging around. | rambutan2
23/9/2003 12:02 | hi guys. ive got a small holding courtesy of buying aim trust at over 300p during its heyday. i was interested in what private holdings it has and what % of the port they made up. reading through the above-posted holdings list i wasnt sure. does anyone know? | rambutan2
23/9/2003 08:47 | Check out one of the pdf files on here - lists their combined assets just prior to merger - cambridge sensors looks set to be the first of a few to come to market - as we have seen with AZM they can be very high gainers once invertors can see the potential | baker man
23/9/2003 08:00 | >rambutan2 - I have this info on a spreadsheet but the formatting is lost when posting - happy to email. The real juice is with the unlisted holdings such as cambridge sensors, if you read their last market update they are in talks with major pharmas about to license their products - on the balance sheet they are booked at cost because they are unquoted but if a deal is struck could be worth many times their book value. | baker man
23/9/2003 05:18 | Don't know about % but I see there is nearly I million Centamin Egypt.... | banovallum
22/9/2003 16:18 | Not far off 101+ nav...over 7 million AZM! | banovallum
22/9/2003 08:04 | Make that 102 ive just seen AZM this morning | baker man
22/9/2003 07:48 | NAV should hit £1.00 today on the back of AZM friday | baker man

08/9/2003 08:28 | Heres hoping :-) this has to be one of the best risk/reward investments with exposure to the small cap mkt - it will be interesting to see what new purachases are made after the disposal of the goverement securities it holds, around £32 m - i note this morning a few of their holings up 5% | baker man
