17/7/2015 09:41 | Acorn Minerals PLC Final Results Alert TIDMACO RNS Number : 3555T Acorn Minerals PLC 17 July 2015 17 July 2015 ACORN MINERALS PLC ("Acorn" or the "Company") Final Results for the year ended 31 March 2015 ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS Chairman's Report It is with pleasure that I present the annual report to shareholders for the year ended 31(st) March 2015. In the past 12 months your board has continued to identify and assess suitable opportunities in the mining, minerals & energy sectors, including both conventional and alternative energy projects as well as mining and energy infrastructure projects that are consistent with our investment strategy. To date we have reviewed well over 30 projects that have met this criteria and we are currently carrying out preliminary due diligence reviews on several of them. Whilst we are keen to find a transaction we remain disciplined to only proceed if we are convinced it will be in the best interests of shareholders. At the period end we have approximately GBP1.252m cash, no debt and continue to keep administration costs to a minimum so that maximum funds can be dedicated to the review of and potentially investment in suitable projects. We will continue to review projects where we believe value can be created for Acorn shareholders which requires considerable work by your board and on your behalf I thank my fellow directors Charles Goodfellow and Brent Fitzpatrick for their effort and commitment to this cause and I also thank you for your ongoing support. 24/4/2015 10:02 | Are market makers just so short on stock they are not making a market? only thing I can think of that explains ACOs movement. | ileeman
24/4/2015 10:01 | ah dorothy has bought back in so predictable | 21trader

24/4/2015 07:51 | Did a mm pick up the stake. Risky as it sounds the way the price is being slashed it could be. 17-17.25p close now 15.25-16p pre market | 21trader
22/4/2015 17:09 | Look at those premiums paid at 20p. No sell trades showing up either, got to be a shake then. | ileeman
22/4/2015 14:00 | That post was mainly pointing at the fact they were offering 21 at the time | mikeh30
22/4/2015 14:00 | Indeed! I'm sure many are holding out for more | mikeh30

22/4/2015 13:44 | When do mm's hike up the price on no trades but they never have a problem slashing it. Maybe a sell order but buy while it's cheaper and available edit somebody just did | 21trader

22/4/2015 10:01 | @ch4p If you thought that way about all AIM stocks then you would never make money, just look at alot of the big risers this year the majority went up on nothing. Follow the price action. | ileeman
22/4/2015 09:56 | ch4p Very true but then go look at DRG, Gate, Chal etc etc and they all have went nuts. But if that director has a history of bringing value and reversing something big into this shell we shall clean up. | 21trader
22/4/2015 09:55 | But there is nothing to go on?? A director buys is not company changing news. Ok it has a tiny mcap with no debt a good start but I need more than that to throw money at this one. | ch4p_85
22/4/2015 09:40 | Every spike/rally they have whacked it down on small selling, just got to hold and wait for the buys to drop feed in. 21p recent high the next target to break. | ileeman
22/4/2015 09:34 | Knew that shake was coming "excuse me mr mm but I here you are in a pickle with ACO and very short (yes)..well let me help you out, what is the price to sell (20.75p), well I have 19k and just because I'm stupid I will sell them for 19p not 20.75p and give you a nice juicy profit on top how does that sound (great) (mug)" | 21trader |
