22/4/2010 09:55 | Bought 3500 this morning. | philo124
21/4/2010 08:45 | Agreed. Seems quite a bit cheaper than CKN and BMS which have done me well. | wjccghcc
21/4/2010 08:38 | It seems to be a well managed company. Everything positive in today's trading update. | ged5
27/2/2010 18:27 | I've just bought some of these. Growing cash, good yield, low PE, one of the leading tanker brokers. Looks a really neat company. | labatie
15/12/2009 17:08 | ACMG is at the top of this page | pillion

25/6/2009 09:29 | If you bought some shares on the 25th, how come the 491 I bought was the only buy transaction shown yesterday? | attland
25/6/2009 09:20 | I am also waiting for the big jump. Great results yesterday so the share price fell. I have bought some more today. | cornishman33
09/6/2009 11:50 | i am here and holding for the big jump | ambuchanan12
01/6/2009 21:34 | BMS/CKN all up recently with economic recovery and BDI index storming...IMO ACM has been left "at the dock" somewhat..and can see why with lack of posters here! ANyone on board? | qs9
17/4/2009 14:32 | this is a gem.. | ambuchanan12
06/2/2009 14:50 | On the up again! On course for profit Certain AIM ventures however, have earned ticks from the market, and upgrades from analysts, with recent acquisitive deals offering a boon to fortune. One example is ACM Shipping, the international tanker broker, which, with CEO Johnny Plumbe at the tiller, sailed in with strong interim results to September, reflecting both organic growth and the positive benefits of acquisitions. ACM, the only quoted shipbroker focused solely on the 'wet' tanker market rather than the challenged dry cargo market delivered 76 per cent half-time sales growth to US$24.4 million (£16.4 million) and profits more than doubled to £3.4 million. The company managed to navigate an excellent first period of trading from recent takeover Harris & Dixon, the specialist small oil tanker broker acquired for £2.5 million in June in a deal further diversifying the group's offering. | ged5
23/6/2008 18:38 | Looks like they buy on the rumour sell on the results mob are out in force today. Good results and a good acquisition. I expect these will resume their upward trend shortly now that some froth has been blown away post results. | thelionsshare
23/6/2008 08:19 | Excellent results, good dividend, good future order book and an acquisition. Wish I'd bought more of these! | ged5
22/6/2008 18:17 | Another good performer that appears to be neglected. A good rise this week ahead of results tomorrow. | cornishman33
07/5/2008 16:45 | A cracking trading statement a couple of weeks ago - new high today and not a post for nearly 6 months! | sheik yerbouti
14/12/2007 12:35 | And suddenly the buying started. Somebody else seems to like these. | ged5
08/12/2007 10:06 | ""You've had earnings go straight through the roof because suddenly the sentiment changed," said Johnny Plumbe, chief executive of ACM Shipping, a London shipbroker specialising in tankers. "The demand and the shortage of tonnage have meant operators were not able to get a VLCC." However, there are questions about how long rates can stay at present levels." | ged5
07/12/2007 18:25 | The latest set of results reminded me what a well run company this seems to be. Looks a good time to buy again after the recent drop. | ged5
13/7/2007 09:27 | I think this stock looks very cheap and had bought a small amount this morning..will probably look to add when funds available | calmtrader
26/6/2007 19:35 | I'm expecting some positive noises here Ged.Let's hope it's been worth the wait. | dimotane
26/6/2007 19:21 | Results out tomorrow. Be interesting to see how ACMG has fared since float. | ged5
20/5/2007 12:27 | From the last results it looks as though we should have good interims. "As indicated in the AIM Admission document dated 29 November 2006, these results are encouraging, with revenues for principal activities ahead of budget. Net profit before bonus payout and taxation was on budget. Trading to date, in the second half, is in line with the Board's expectations" Thought I'd update the header slightly. I've just added links to the investor site and to the Edison research note. Wonder if we'll get notification of results date! | ged5
09/5/2007 17:21 | Thought results must be due sometime sooon Ged. Trading must be good as shipping rates have risen dramtically recently.Any new contracts will surely be at the higher rate now and forecasts are for the rates to remain high in the near future. Can only see good news ahead imo. | dimotane |
