06/9/2016 16:33 | Thanks spud, appreciate the thoughts which definitely put some logic to what appeared quite an extreme scenario in such a short timescale. Regards | kcr69
06/9/2016 16:30 | I think this morning they were desperate for stock and have now satisfied all the orders they have. may even have too much on their hands and hence one cant get an online quote to sell more than a 100. | janeann
06/9/2016 16:30 | The MMs try to keep a balanced book generally. This morning they were short of stock due to the buying activity and as a result were prepared to offer a price above the Bid in quantity in order to balance. As a result they attracted more sells than they felt comfortable with and had to lower the bid price and close the NMS down to 100 shares. Once their books are balanced, the NMS will rise along with the Bid.spud | spud
06/9/2016 16:22 | I was just about to post the same, I did some dummy buys and sells, one moment you could sell well over 5k and the next nothing, and the same with buys too. Been a very strange day here. So in conclusion Kcr I can;t help you, sorry | panic investor
06/9/2016 16:19 | Does any one have a view on the following re todays trade This morning I was being offered 1727.5 to sell 2000 shares when the spread was 1700 - 1735. Now I can't get a price to sell on anything over 100 shares and at 1680. Appreciate that MM's play games but that seems like polar extremes over the space of a few hours. I have no intention of selling however I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts? Many thanks | kcr69
06/9/2016 12:22 | Whoops. Apologies allround! | orange1
06/9/2016 12:03 | Orange1.....yes, but Tom as Executive chairman is still the one who takes responsibility and has his name on the RNS ! lol | davidosh
06/9/2016 11:15 | >supernumery Do keep up! The age of Tom is over, we are in the age of Steve now. | orange1
06/9/2016 10:44 | Spud, I hope you are wrong I was hoping for an share price of round £50 before any TO ! Lots of speculation in the media about ACSO being a target though, also Peel Hunts increased target to 2100.00p is bound to draw a few investors. | glyn10
06/9/2016 10:08 | spud - you have to wonder - the rise seems to be accelerating. Perhaps if we speculate enough, Tom will be forced to issue a 'we know of no reason' RNS? It's occurred to me more than once, though, that if the new IP boys are doing their job, ACSO will be on a lot of radars - companies that might not have been aware of its existence previously. Someone like Uber, now planning to launch a driverless taxi system, could make hay with its opposition if it controlled ACSO's patent portfolio. They'll be smarting after having to back down in their battle with didi in China... | supernumerary
06/9/2016 10:07 | Agree Spud, I've been feeling the same! | itchycrack
06/9/2016 10:02 | I do get the feeling that after all the company shake up (last year) for cross selling opportunities etc etc that there may be as Orange has said an aquisition or evening an announcement regarding moving into another market queueing / ticketing wise. Lionheart smaller companies have been buying too. | panic investor
06/9/2016 09:55 | There could be other things going on in the background such as an acquisition or US listing. | orange1
06/9/2016 09:31 | I'm not sure this price rise is solely attributable to Results due this month. If it's what I fear, then it had better be for a decent valuation.Pure speculation & I could be wrong..spud | spud
05/9/2016 07:46 | Looks like Henderson Smaller Companies have been buying recently too per this article on Friday night: HENDERSON SMALLER COMPANIES: It’s risky - but a bet on small firms can mean big profits WHAT DOES IT DO? Invests in small UK businesses with the potential for growth. Recent additions to the portfolio include.....Accesso, which offers online ticketing services." | rivaldo

01/9/2016 16:28 | Indeed, it would seem that normal service has resumed, onwards and upwards | glyn10
01/9/2016 11:18 | Nice to see £40,000 of stock bought at 1590p today, well above the published 1580p offer price. OT : PI, unfortunately gains at SIM, SDI, PEG, INSE etc were offset by a fall at CAR! But I'm hopeful that CAR will recover nicely. | rivaldo
31/8/2016 09:37 | Love the description for ACSO - hardly flattering.Your doing well today Rivaldo - I don't hold SIM yet tho :-/ | panic investor
31/8/2016 09:27 | ACSO (and IQE, which I also hold) mentioned in today's Mail as an attractive UK takeover candidate in the wake of the ARM deal: Foreign investors thought to be eyeing more of Britain’s tech pioneers after sale of ARM Holdings to Japanese By Sabah Meddings For The Daily Mail Published: 00:47, 31 August 2016 | Updated: 02:08, 31 August 2016" Extract: "Now those thought to be on the radar of predatory firms include IQE, Telit, Accesso.... ....IQE, founded in Cardiff, makes the silicon wafers used as a base for microchips while Berkshire-based Accesso provides ticketing software for ski resorts, zoos and theme parks.
