ACAL international supplier of customised electronics to industry, announces that Nick Salmon, currently a Non-Executive Director of Elementis Plc and of Interserve Plc, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Acal plc with effect from 1 March 2015.

Prior to his current positions, Mr Salmon was Chief Executive of Cookson Group Plc from 2004 to 2012 and acted as a Non-Executive Director of United Utilities Group Plc (2005-14) and of Asia Resource Minerals Plc (2014).

There is no matter requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules other than those matters disclosed above.

Richard Moon, Chairman, said:

"We are delighted that Nick is joining the Acal Board. His extensive industrial and leadership experience will be very valuable as the Group moves into the next stage of its development."

Your target is too low imo...fully expecting 350-400p by June 2015. Once QE gets going in Europe, these will get rerated .

Finished the year on a high and hit my target of 240 thats up almost 35% on my buy, HNY to all shareholders and staff at ACAL.

Yes, looking much better. A big move today for no obvious reason it seems. Hopefully the big seller which has plagued this stock in the recent past has been exhausted.
