25/4/2004 22:39 | agree simon becoming more difficult to find any bargins at the moment,i've got quite a bit of cash in my portfolio,1st time for quite awhile, though did recently top up my holding in slp | ntv
25/4/2004 20:09 | Simon, In a previous post you said; ".....given £5.4m of net assets and a number of options/warrants (e.g. Multi Group)that are not held in the balance sheet." The recent reallisation of the Multi-Group options should add over 0.5p to Nav based on a strike price of 1p. Do you have a note of the other options/warrants that ANC hold? Ive lost track. | hugepants
25/4/2004 19:37 | Bittorrent - I'm the other way around at the moment - too much cash held in portfolio, not enough value shares to go for. This one was better value 6 months ago, but still cheap imo. | simonevans
25/4/2004 19:33 | Simon thanks for the reply, this is looking better the more I read about it. Your post 243 explains the sharp fall on the long term chart! Good luck to all holders of ANC and CFP-the problem these days is too many great shares but not enough funds to buy them! | bittorrent
25/4/2004 15:10 | sbl - yes, CFP are also interesting. I hold from the 0.35p days - part of the reason for the premium rating on this one is that the market is starting to believe the story.....i.e. that CFA will be another Seymour Pierce. Stephen Barclay and John Shaw have done it before....SYP only went wrong when they left. Corporate Synergy are very different, but have moved on strongly from the difficulties that were experienced 18m ago from the Izodia debacle. Trading is very strong and so if they can keep their cost base under control then they should be heading for a good year. | simonevans
25/4/2004 12:22 | Thanks for the research guys - will dig deeper. I know there is a lot of wind going on with CFP but some insiders are telling me there are some juicy deals in the pipe line. But I think we can't do much wrong by investing in this sector. SBL | saddam bin laden
25/4/2004 12:17 | Normally take cash, but often get some options or warrants - e.g Multi-Group where have options for 1% i think at 1p. | simonevans
25/4/2004 10:24 | Also found this via cfp board. Will do a bit more research but certainly looks very interesting. Might well take a nibble on monday. Floppyhunter (on Gay's pc). | gay
25/4/2004 09:46 | I found this via the CFP board and it certainly looks interesting. Do they usually take shares in a new company as payment, or cash? If so, do they publish their holdings? TIA, BT. | bittorrent
25/4/2004 08:28 | Saddam, gives further info on clients | hugepants

24/4/2004 18:24 | Can anyone tell me how many clients they have and value of shares in any of these companies? | saddam bin laden
24/4/2004 08:36 | If you compare this one to CFA Capital, it is quite clear how undervalued this one is in comparison. | simonevans
23/4/2004 12:20 | Ive bought some more. You can currently buy at mid-price online. Market cap 6.7M, 5M net cash and group now trading profitably. | hugepants
20/4/2004 22:10 | All it needs is more buys than sells! | optimist at large
20/4/2004 22:06 | Yes, needs some positive spin. May they need a good PR company! | simonevans
20/4/2004 20:12 | still going down | ntv
18/4/2004 21:52 | also floatation of 4less was successful as the shares were placed at 60p and opened up about 30% | ntv
18/4/2004 21:51 | optimist at large it should bring in some publicity but will also depend on how much money they bring in for the first fund | ntv
18/4/2004 18:26 | NTV - agree. not much interest on this thread. 4th May is the AGM date. You should have received the annual report about a month ago. | simonevans
18/4/2004 17:33 | Is the Mouncashel Hedge Fund launching in May? This should give the price some upward movement. | optimist at large
18/4/2004 17:18 | i think there are only a few of us who realise what a bargin they still are simon they are still certainly busy bees haven't received my annual report yet.think agm is near the the end of the month anyone going? | ntv |
