Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), a global leader in the supply of life science research tools, has been notified of the following dealing in Abcam's shares by a PDMR of the Company:

-- Suzanne Smith, Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary, purchased 894 ordinary shares of 0.2 pence each in the Company ("Shares") at a price of GBP8.3843 per Share on Friday 7 April 2017. Mrs Smith also sold 316 Shares at a price of GBP8.435 per Share and purchased 314 Shares at a price of GBP8.4393 per Share by way of a "bed & ISA" process from a nominee account into an ISA on Monday 10 April 2017.
