A glance at the regulatory announcements seems to show that Sir David Thomson, a name previously linked to supporting minority shareholders, was elbowed off the board a year ago. Since then, it seems that a Colin Weinberg and a Pearce Gould have been heading the company. Sorry to sound cynical, but one seems to be stockbroker and the other a "corporate consultant", not engineers. Can anyone confirm ? Is this the reason the price has tanked since ? Maybe the next RNS will prove me wrong.

And only 2mill shares in issue one good move and they will fly providing no dilution which goes with transfer of power

SoftT, agreed ! With the two major holders at loggerheads, should they not at least agree that a takeover bid for ASBE would be a solution ? As you rightly point out, ASBE enjoys a FULL listing !

ASBE eventually admitted to the Akoris disaster (my post of 24 May 2014): "Akoris Trading Ltd has yet to trade and the Board has resolved to write down the investment by £262,000." That loss has since grown. Whilst not lumpy in cash terms, it is huge in terms of mis-management given the business never got to trade before the cash was lost. Cannot be a happy boardroom. Note that a professional investor recently upped his stake to 3.4%, but there may still be a lumpy seller out there.

It seems the board are keeping the Akoris news to themselves. And is the February IMS still awaited, or are they keeping that secret too ?

Hardly informative interims: no wonder it remains a case of bored PI's selling and Directors' (only) buying. Not an institutional supporter yet in sight! But what is their cunning plan, I wonder ?

Hi Soft T: Surely the Interims told us everything: "Akoris is still negotiating a number of transactions [in] the commodity market" "The Board is working to ensure that its investments are developed to maximise shareholder value." "Pre-tax loss [attributable to] our investment in Akoris." Yes, they've told us everything........, or nothing ???

No, but the fact that directors have been buying all any loose stock in recent months suggests they have been wanting to up their stake before any acquisition/investment.

Last statement said they had substantial cash "resources". Now, does that indeed mean they are sitting on a pile of cash or merely have access to funding? Worth noting though that they've since opted to redeem their loan capital and that the directors are buying the shares. So all seems quite bullish.
