01/6/2016 19:46 | This seems to happen every couple of months or so. I (eventually) learnt not to look to much into it! | pastybap
01/6/2016 16:22 | No reason I can think of, quiet week mms having a shake to rustle up some shares? | tratante
01/6/2016 15:14 | Why the sharp decline today? | sharestobuy
27/5/2016 15:06 | great presentation long term hold/buy imo due to the fact there are lots of new vehicle types coming onstream in the next few years. | lingy
26/5/2016 13:06 | Thx gr1982, great talk - especially Tim saying they've learnt to be bold because there're good. | fizzypop
26/5/2016 11:09 | Just saw this on twitter by mginvestor, worth a listen some interesting tidbits: AB Dynamics' MD Tim Rogers presentation 19 May 2016 at @SHARESmag investor evening @AJBellYouinvest @ABDynamics ABDP | gr1982
25/5/2016 15:25 | Interesting potential investment but looks more like a hold rather than a buy at current share price as looks fully valued. Chart plateaued last couple of weeks and down 2% this afternoon with PIs taking profits which tends to confirm my view. Obviously worth picking up on dips. Quite a company which ticks many of my boxes. Thanks to Effortless Cool for comments - your target price of 478.9p above was prescient indeed and within the current LSE spread of 473-480p. | fizzypop
02/5/2016 16:31 | Costs of new plant will be more than offset by the reduction in property costs , owning freehold far better than leasing whilst getting c.1% interest on cash balance. So cash generation will improve once sites are rationalised. | rhomboid
02/5/2016 11:09 | Thanks, all. WCB's information would seem to corroborate MG1982's, so I have revised my projections to reflect £7m expenditure on the new factory over the next three periods. I have also pushed up 2017 revenues somewhat, to reflect some benefit from the new factory facility. I'll update the header in a moment. | effortless cool
02/5/2016 10:56 | The cost of the new facility was estimated at £5.87m in the AIM admission document in 2013: see pages 18 and 94: hxxp://www.abd.uk.co It was estimated for completion in late 2015 so no doubt costs have risen since. cheers WCB | westcountryboy
02/5/2016 10:02 | EC, just to remind all of the 7/10/15 announcement, which bears out your last comment As announced on 12 February 2015, ABD had conditionally been awarded a grant of up to GBP2.3m from the UK Government's Regional Growth Fund ("RGF"). Having now received the Final Grant Offer Letter, which contains revised requirements from the earlier draft conditional offer letter, the Board has determined that these additional requirements are over burdensome and it would not be in the best interests of the Group and its shareholders to proceed with the grant and accordingly the offer has been declined. As a result of the robust financial position and sound operational performance of the business, the Board is confident that, notwithstanding declining the grant, the Group has sufficient funds to facilitate its expansion plans for meeting increasing global demand which include building the new facility. | knownowt
02/5/2016 07:40 | MG1982, Thanks, but I can't find any reference to cost, either in the RNSs or in the investor presentations on the website. Do you have a link to the source? If it does cost ~£7m, then my cash figures above are too high, and cash at the end of 2017 will be about £8.5m. I guess the key is that ABDP have more than ample cash to fund this development from their own resources. | effortless cool
02/5/2016 03:34 | Effortless Cool, Regarding your comment in the header "The main uncertainty here is the cost of the new factory. I have allowed for increased cap ex, but may still be understating the investment required." ABDP have mentioned in one of their RNS's last year I believe that the new factory will cost £6.7m so I would assume £7m max | mg1982
01/5/2016 21:42 | Header updated to reflect 2015/16 interims. These remain a firm hold for me. | effortless cool
27/4/2016 11:16 | Buy reiteration in IC online presumably fuelling momentum today. | effortless cool
26/4/2016 20:49 | Excellent results good long term hold imo. | lingy
26/4/2016 12:39 | Read Panmure Gordon & Co's note on AB DYNAMICS, out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research "AB Dynamics continues to under-promise over-deliver on its strategy, with sales in the interim period increasing by 34% to £10.11m and PBT increasing by 50% to £2.26m. This reflects the strong suite of products and services required by OEMs investing in next-generation cars. The growth is being led by customers in China, Korea and Japan...." | thomasthetank1
26/4/2016 09:59 | Great results! Over on TMF I asked about the succession issue, AB is 78 I think and Mr Best's previous business partner passed away a few years ago and his shares are held by his widow. If anyone is attending the AGM I'd be very keen to hear more on how the company sees the issue. I'd appreciate any views. Cheers | rhomboid
26/4/2016 08:18 | Expectation beating results again. Ahead of all three of my main metrics: Revenue: F £9.6m, A £10.1m PTP: F £2.1m, A £2.3m Cash: F £8.3m, A £10.1m F(orecast), A(ctual) | effortless cool

13/4/2016 18:55 | CrAzy drop on such little volume very strange | az4hr
13/4/2016 16:22 | No problem and your way of thinking is very sensible. I bought at 4.19 as my first buy and topped up today at 4.06 which unbelievably was the best price I could get despite the fall to 3.91. Oh well I still believe this has much further to go and I could well hold until the end of this year depending on the next set of news | sharestobuy
13/4/2016 15:58 | Thanks STB, I'm not worried, just an observation more than anything else. I won't be topping up. I limit to a certain amount per share and reached my exposure limit. Plus that spread is ridiculous at present. Won't go over a 4% spread UL | ulinbac |
