07/10/2003 19:36 | A changing of the guard at the beginning of next year with Rupert moving to Chairman and a surveyor coming in from outside to be CEO. Looks like investment will take over from development. Simon Agree with your comments on strength of company but the share price has been at a discount to nav for last 25 years. All looks like lining up for a MBO but perhaps 12 months time when the debenture has been repaid. It will be a lot smaller company when the latest sale completes next week.Cannot fault Mucklow on the timing of the sale. | linhur
10/9/2003 20:48 | I don't agree with this. I think that there is a strong argument for Mucklow trading close to triple nav given the very impressive dividend. Results were quite good imo. This company is always prudent in its comments - voids actually went down! A 35 year dividend record - It may well be the best dividend record of any listed company. Can anyone give a company with a better long-term record. Very strong and sound business imo. | simonevans
10/9/2003 18:06 | No MBO then. Results are poor taking into account the share price has increased pretty rapidly from 240p to 280p in the last two months. Probably a good move to raise £48mill from the sale of 10 sites. However the sale was at 7.6% so revenue will suffer in future years.Wonder what they are going to do with the £48mill? Buy the Loan stock back? would add 20p to the NAV. Looks as though Mucklow is battening down the hatches for a tough couple of years in the commercial property market. Triple NAV is 290p so shareprice should realistically be 220/230p regards Linhur | linhur
07/9/2003 21:54 | Full year results out on Wednesday. MBO ?? | linhur
09/7/2003 10:07 | Big jump in the last month on small volumes. Getting near triple NAV. Perhaps MBO coming up ? regards Linhur | linhur
02/3/2003 20:02 | Interims are out on Wednesday 5th, the chart looks good, but do you think that the results will look good. | boram
19/12/2001 18:11 | Another company buying shares back is EUROCOPY - EUP. See various RNS. I will keep an eye on MKLW. Good luck. GJ | gerard j
19/12/2001 18:00 | This one seems to be going into orbit recently: Anyone still following? | zzaxx99
28/6/2001 23:40 | I don't understand why they should be buying back shares when the price is so close to the recent high. How many shares? | energyi
28/6/2001 23:09 | Having spoken to Rupert Mucklows secretary a few moments ago, they are buying back shares. This will limit the shares available. My guess, should push up the price in the future. | chris b
28/6/2001 22:10 | Family own over 40% of shares after latest buyback. MKLW have been selling old industrial estates to finance buyback as NAV about 250p after adjustments for debt and tax. The debt is all long term loan stock. I expect it will eventually go the same way as Evans Estates did the other year - family mbo but thet want a few more shares first. regards linhurst2 | linhur
28/6/2001 12:36 | What I don't understand is what they're buying the shares back WITH! Little cash in the bank and net current liabilities. Looks like a weak balance sheet to me, but having said that they've always had a high level of creditors. | stewjames |
