WSG quite active on X recently. Are they finally going to deliver or is it a precursor to raising?

“…Based on current international embarking passenger levels, the #WSG contract is expected to generate revenues of around £8 million in the first 12 months of operation, with potential for additional revenue from domestic traffic/cargo screening…”

Slightly disappointed that the share price has not responded to the excellent RNS but relaxed . Pretty sure Peter Fowler and team will find debt financing that is beneficial to share holders . U.K. export finance likely to be in play too.

And therein lies the rub!

Provided the contract is ratified this month (It was signed in 2021 if memory serves me correctly....) the share price could easily double from today's level of circa 3.40p.

However.....as you rightly say, it never seems to materialise.....so who knows.....
I'm a born optimist and am still holding........

I like a quiet board , it's the share price that matters NOT how many are posting.

Hope you're also enjoying the rise.

Extraordinary how quiet this board is considering the share price movement

The highest the share price has been for over a year.

They've always used "transformational", unfortunately the only transformation they've ever attained is to send the share price in a downwards trajectory

Do the maths...Have you really read the WSG RNS in detail......this is MASSIVE.I have followed WSG for years (to my cost!) but never seen such a careful, positive, upbeat RNS. To use the word "transformational" should not be understated.Have you looked at the potential numbers here?If passenger numbers are around 400,000 at say $25 then tats $10m pa over 10/15/20 years? The DRC was worth $6m a year when passenger numbers were really low (covid years) so $10m is hardly unrealistic... https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/WSG/interim-results/16399727One to watch here...

Whilst the Company can choose to enact the sale of these shares at any time, it has not done so and there is no reason nor pressure to do so until the Company's share price has reached a target price of 26p. The Company believes that with imminent and expected new long-term contracts to be gained over the next 24 months the target price or higher can be achieved in due course at which time the shares can be sold for the benefit of the Company.

Made me laugh.

The share price spiked by over 50% when the company announced it's full year results at the beginning of June.

For the share price to increase that much the results must have been very good and indeed they were.

Like most small cap/micro's most shares always drop on lack of news over the months just like WSG's have.

The next significant news will be the interim results unless the company issues an rns regarding contract's.

The CEO has already stated that Q1 has traded ahead of expectations and the interim results will show revenue has increased significantly from last year and the company will be profitable again.

The share price could easily increase again by 50% or more when the company announces it's interim results just like it did in June.
