As a long term suffering WSBN share holder the latest RNS seems very encouraging, however can anybody that knows more about mining than me suggest where we might go from here?

The RNS talks about further exploration but I can see no news of when production is likely to start.

Does anyone have any idea how long it might take to move from where we are now to production?

My other question is how is production likely to be funded? Presumably further capital will be needed and possibly rather a lot of it. Do exploration companies like WSBN tend to raise capital themselves or possibly enter into joint ventures with established major mining companies? I suppose other possibilities would to to sell out and/or maybe take a royalty from future revenues.

Does this sound familiar. copy Paste ..Wishbone Gold Plc (AIM: WSBN, AQSE: WSBN), announces that the Reverse Circulation ("RC") drilling program at its Red Setter project has been completed, with samples now en route to Intertek's laboratories, with assay results expected in the next 4-6 weeks. As previously reported on 13(th) December 2022, initial assay results from Red Setter confirmed the geological observations of a broad hydrothermal system with gold and copper associated with quartz-carbonate-sulphide veins present within all lithology types, and often with breccia textures.

Wishbone Gold Plc (AIM: WSBN, AQSE: WSBN), is pleased to announce it has raised £300,000 gross to one corporate investor at a price of 1.2 pence per share and will be issuing a total of 25,000,000 new Ordinary Shares of 0.1 pence each (the "Ordinary Shares"). This small placing will provide additional working capital for the Company but importantly will primarily be used to initiate exploration operations at the new Mosquito Creek property in the Pilbara. Richard Poulden, Wishbone Gold's Chairman, stated: "When raising fresh equity the board is mindful of dilution especially when share prices are depressed but has decided to do this micro-placing to secure the exploration funds needed for the recently acquired and very exciting Mosquito Creek gold and lithium project in Western Australia. The summer season, which is both hot and wet, is coming to an end in the Pilbara and we are preparing to mobilise our exploration teams back out into the field as the weather starts to cool down. We see Mosquito Creek providing real value to Wishbone Gold shareholders in 2024." Application will be made for the 25,000,000 new Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares in issue, to be admitted to trading on AIM and the AQSE Growth Market ("Admission"). Dealings are expected to commence on or about 8 February 2024 and the issue is subject only to Admission.

That for me is a great result.

2p then 8p. the average retail investor is too thick to take advantage of such news. They judge the news by the price action. They interpret no 'spike and rally' following news, as 'the news wasn't great'. Then when we hit 8p over the next few weeks they'll be asking "why is the share price going up on no news".....you've already had the news! you just didn't realise it because the subdued price action covered it up.

IMHO, as a long term investor in Wishbone, especially more recently at these ludicrously low levels, I just ignore the short term 'investors' on here, who usually have a very limited, or zero understanding of the mining industry.

Sure, I totally understand the usual AIM manipulations & MM/shorter games in WSBN, and just about every other AIM share.

However, IMHO, it's clearly obvious, that the current WSBN share price is ludicrous, in the extreme, based on our tenement ownership in the Paterson WA region alone, even before any potential major hit. That hit, all the more probable, in what is the best real estate for major gold/copper finds recently!

If you snooze you lose!

What's more, if you think you'll be able to get back in, if/when we hit some major mineralisation at Red Setter, then think on..You won't! You'll be locked out by the market!

GLA!

Since the high of 9 years ago, the WSBN share price has lost over 98% of it's value. That takes some doing! 😁
