7Dig might be the worlds first music streaming company to make a profit. Now that would be a great Headline in the FT.

Spotify may have a London office but are Swedish. Don;t know how much happens in London but all their tech vacancies are advertised as Sweden or the US.

Smithie:

No, seriously: Spotify is the best streaming service at losing money. Spotify is getting better at losing money. ... But despite that huge revenue increase — laudable for a tech company of Spotify's size and expansion rate — the company still lost $193 million in 2015, an increase of 6.7 percent over 2014's losses.24 May 2016

Spotify are I think also London based....much higher turnover than 7DIG....one assumes they offer higher wages..

( in previous RNS 7DIG appointed 3 new mngrs.....inferring that a turnover of staff can happen)

Smithie6....THERE ARE 10 JOBS ON THE 7 DIG WEBSITE SO THAT WOULD INDICATE TO ME THAT THE COMPANY IS GROWING .I AM ENCOURAGED BY THAT FACT AND ON THAT BASIS AM EXPECTING GOOD NEWS FROM THIS COMPANY.

Companies normally take on extra staff when new orders are won.🌞 If they are lost they tend to lay workers off. 😰

Only an avatar that hasn't had as much as a hint of a shag for year would be out chasing an utter dog like this when they could be in a club rocking a looker - and even then, they would need to be wearing their most psychedelic beer goggles.

..fair points

But
You make no mention of the fact that turnover has fallen and licensing revenue has also fallen...surely those historic facts are useful pointers for the future ?

Why do you think the future will be better ?

Smithie6

I purchased shares in 7dig after the last results and director buying.I did so based on what I hope and the company predicts a profit in 2017. The accounts are what has happened not what might happen.I read the accounts and the reasons they were poor, the first quarter sales were disappointing as was the £733,000 hit. What attracted me was the high margin recurring revenues and potential growth.

Have you not noticed the increase in music streams and contracts.Have you read that the large investment has now come to an end.Did you pick on on the million pound cost saving going into 2017. The UK pound has also slumped that produces a further gain. The Snowite purchase brings its first full year of earnings in 2017 as well.

Your entire focus on the accounts is only part of the picture the part that is history. All investors can read them.Your not using a 50/50 weighting on decision making. In your case it's 100% on the accounts and past track record of the directors and company. That is where we differ. 7Dig are also hiring 👯💃
