07/11/2016 11:36 | Yes, totally agree! As a 7DIG holder I'd given up on EJ ever being launched, so good to see that it almost is!As you know, EJ is just one of the many 'consumer friendly' music services that 7DIG power - GrandPad, Playster, CStream, etc. - I can see the use case for EJ, but RRP a bit steep for me, at £149 I'd be tempted for connecting to our kitchen TV. | hausofmaus
07/11/2016 11:28 | Cheers Hausofmaus. I've got a feeling that Electric Jukebox will do very well. I had a look at the website yesterday (above), and it seems reasonably priced but, more importantly, easy to use for all generations. I'd imagine it would be great fun for everyday use and particularly house parties and other special occasions. We'll see in time, but I could certainly envisage buying one myself. That said I'll stick with 7Digital rather than investing directly for all the reasons mentioned previously. 7Digital is the less risky way to have a indirect investment in many of these start-ups alongside their contracts with more established players imo. I don't think the investment community understands or has woken up to 7Digital's potential yet. | michaelmouse
07/11/2016 11:07 | On sale at Amazon UK from tomorrow... | hausofmaus
07/11/2016 08:13 | This is the bit that is interesting for 7Digital holders:- "It is intended that the Magic Works streaming products and services will initially be launched in the UK this month extending to the U.S. and Continental Europe during 2017." | michaelmouse
07/11/2016 07:52 | Funding for Electric Jukebox/Magic Media Works is from YOLO - | hausofmaus
06/11/2016 13:20 | "Great to see another innovative @7digital customer off the launch pad. Good luck to @RobLewisLondon and the team."hTTps://twitte | hausofmaus
06/11/2016 12:43 | 7Digital's market cap at £6.2m is less than the £8m that is being raised when Electric Jukebox reverses into an AIM shell this week. | michaelmouse
06/11/2016 10:35 | The news above is one factor why I am invested here. Whilst there will inevitably be disappointments e.g. Guvera, 7Dig only need to be a provider to a few clients that gain traction e.g. musical.ly and their business model will prosper. Electric Jukebox may succeed or fail who knows? However, 7Dig are there to piggy back their success (if they are successful) but if they aren't then 7Dig still have a varied and wide range of clients that will eventually take up the slack and more(hopefully). 06/11/2016 09:11 | Hi Someuwin Just read that too, I thought that company had dies a death - obviously not, Nigel Wray is a canny investor, he obviously sees value there The importance for us Obviously our strength at present in b2b business, the 'jukebox' deal significantly opens up the 'consumer' market...if it's successful could generate nice revenues S | sweenoid
06/11/2016 09:07 | Good find someuwin. | michaelmouse
28/10/2016 10:59 | Apologies for off topic, but you should be aware! Anyone tempted to go to the self promoting michaelmouse - serial basher. Here's what you won't learn from his guru skills. Interesting spin, especially the topic of the share price. Remind us of your two darling "growth" investments on a 12 month view. Avanti; THE FRAUD! 250p now 24.5p - by his own admission he bought at 170p and 120p and advised buying at 48,p. If you were brave, being his caveats. Another of his growth stocks Trakm8: The cash guzzler and creative accounting magician 360p now 153p. But to be fair, you got a maiden 2p divi. Shame it can't afford it. Isn't that the same trick a number of Chinese frauds use to sucker investors in! But his favourite part-time is bashing TW related stock. Revenge for short advice on some of michaelmouse shares. Don't worry someuwin - he surely can't blame two premium uses as being the same person. His usual ploy when more than one person disagrees with him. | elrico
25/10/2016 15:54 | thanks for that link , good news S | sweenoid

10/10/2016 09:09 | All in all 7DIG is going very well now and could end up the leader in this market. Next results will give us a good indication of the real potential, as they add scale overheads as a % of turnover will drop and profits will rise. Once they start making a profit it should rise very quickly indeed. Maybe Cole's vision two years ago will come true,he said it would take a little time. | loobrush

10/10/2016 07:43 | Contracts for Radioplayer announced in Canada and Peru. Launch of CDiscount service. | michaelmouse
06/10/2016 16:52 | Jobs advertised on 7Digital site:- This sounds interesting:- "Right now we are engaged in a number of very exciting projects for global artists (will.i.am, Neil Young), hi resolution audio services with Onkyo, Technics and MQA, video messaging with musical.ly, along with developing streaming products for broadcasters, retailers and the major labels. We’re working at significant scale – our service-oriented API Platform is handling billions of requests per month and growing quickly." | michaelmouse
05/10/2016 09:46 | An article about yesterdays launch of CStream in France... "Cstream is powered by the wholly owned French subsidiary of UK digital music services provider 7Digital, one of the few independent music white label companies left standing following the demise of Omnifone and the acquisition of Medianet by SOCAN earlier this year. This remains a vibrant sector with a lot of demand and 7Digital should prosper in a marketplace that they can now make their own." | iainbarclay
03/10/2016 09:07 | All the news in the last week with Canada ,launch by Sony and warren and musical-Lyn. You would think they would be announcing to the market. | genises
01/10/2016 18:54 | Its interesting, in the case of Playster, that they have signed their own licenses direct with the labels - this shows that even with companies of the scale where they are able to do that, that we offer sufficient technical and operation benefits to outsource the deployment and running of their music services. | iainbarclay
01/10/2016 18:36 | Well spotted. couldnt find a RNS. Looks as if they are working with Sony and Warner music | genises |
