31/10/2011 22:20 | US seems to be emerging from the recession far quicker than Europe - Looking good for FOUR | grigor
31/10/2011 08:28 | Yes, very good update finishing with the line that '...The Board anticipates that 2011 will be a further year of good progress.', so no sign that recent events are having an effect on business, not surprised they've moved up. | daz
31/10/2011 07:45 | That's a good update progress in the main parts of the company with 14% increase overall except SPS but it's only 5% of the overall company. The board predicts further progress so up goes the shares! | battlebus2
27/10/2011 17:49 | Yes quietly gaining ground up over 20% in a few weeks. | battlebus2
27/10/2011 15:34 | Slowly creeping back up. IMS next week? positive outlook should see a rise to 300p+ | phar lap
17/10/2011 08:38 | been trying to get some around the £2 mark, for days....can kiss good bye to that...:-( | kimball808
17/10/2011 08:03 | A few early trades should send this up. | battlebus2
11/10/2011 23:04 | IMS is a couple of weeks or so should clear the air. | battlebus2
11/10/2011 22:22 | Spike in volume today, ticked up at the close - seller clearing and chart turning up maybe? | chrisb1103
09/10/2011 10:09 | when is the market going to understand that this is a growth company not a cyclical. Several years of data to support this - all ignored. Wish I had more cash to invest in this. | paul_butcher1999
07/10/2011 20:51 | Edison have a decent sounding note out. | battlebus2
03/10/2011 21:04 | Think your getting too concerned about the pension deficit imv. Read the last paragraph Defined benefit pension scheme The Group sponsors a UK defined benefit pension scheme, closed to new members. At 5 April 2011 (the date of the scheme accounts), there were 1,042 deferred members and 1,170 pensioners. The scheme is closed to future accrual. At 2 July 2011, the deficit was GBP20.30m (assets GBP78.63m and liabilities GBP98.93m). The discount rate used to calculate the liability was 5.6%. The Company made an enhanced transfer value offer to deferred members which closed on 22 July 2011. 287 deferred members have accepted the offer. The cash cost to the Company will be approximately GBP1.5m, which includes enhancements to transfer values and fees. GBP0.36m has been charged to exceptional items in the first half in respect of fees paid to date. Using the valuation basis at 2 July 2011, approximately GBP9m of liability and GBP10m of assets will be removed from the scheme when the transfers take place in the second half of the year. | battlebus2
03/10/2011 20:33 | Yes, £20million deficit but that was in July, what's the figure now, the way pensions have bombed lately? £25million? | simonh88
02/10/2011 23:35 | isnt it about 20 million deficit? | paul_butcher1999
02/10/2011 16:59 | I do like the look of this company, but that pension liability of £90m net (after the changes later this year) is worrying. Don't forget this was based on valuations as at 2nd July and we all know what's happened since then. | simonh88
02/10/2011 12:17 | Yep if the markets ever settle down. | battlebus2
02/10/2011 11:32 | This share price is totally bonkers. Should be £3 IMO - and then steadily growing from there ... | paul_butcher1999
22/9/2011 20:07 | 7% divi if this drops to £2... | kimball808
13/9/2011 11:34 | And to think that David Schwartz was singing FOURs praises not so long ago. | farnesbarnes
12/9/2011 10:21 | Back down to £2 again and yielding over 6.5% if you were to buy now. How low can this go atm. | battlebus2
08/9/2011 08:12 | Reporting in as well :) Still holding, and was even happy to average down a few days ago with a small purchase at 230p. But wasn't so happy when the offer hit 220p a day or two later :( Hoping the price fall is just sentiment/fear, and not masking some hidden problems at FOUR itself (have no reason to suspect there is, apart from the obvious anxiety that creeps in with every holding during crazy markets) | calahan
07/9/2011 21:43 | I'm here too...ling term. Directors bought above 269 just a couple of months ago. So will hold with good dividend yield as well. | nick2008
07/9/2011 15:32 | Still here too bb2, these look good value to me at this price. Substantial upside to the Directors options too from memory! IMO :) | jbarker5555 |
