Does anyone know anything about GIS, 3D rasters in particular interpolation and the uses of smoothing? I'm mapping local car parks for dogging information and am looking to use some kind of spline smoothing technique to more clearly illustrate the data over a 3D map.I've chosen 3D because I feel altitude may be further studied in relation to dogging locations.I was wondering if there was a link to various locations and the average number of times intercourse took place.Thanks.

aim_master Please would you be good enough to say if the gist of the research was positive or not for 1Spatial and how they rate it.

big trades here today priced at a decent discount, should be interesting so see who is moving on the register. May be it will lift some weight on the share price and there could be a shift north. AGM due on the 11th July so may see an update.

Keep em peeled

But clearly not that impressive as again the share price goes nowhere!

I have to say their renewal rate is mighty impressive if true, as are all these new contract wins

Strong secured order book maintained at GBP8.0m (2015: GBP7.0m) - maybe "this" will be their year!

I have been in this share for around 15 years - cannot even remember now what it was called in the very first place. It has done nothing and I sit on a hefty loss. Every year there are more and more promises, and of course as we all know, nothing happens. I don't even know if they are still trading - nothing happening on my monitor for them! Utter contempt - what happened to the end to end solutions?

There seem to be no clues at all about what sort of growth the market is in, assuming it is, or what sort of share they think they can get. In fact, just an absence of anything that any investor can assess.

I'm not invested but I would love to find out where all that placing money has gone. It was by no means all spent on the acquisition that happened when it was raised.

Also always curious to see how acquiring management 'adopt' the PR history from the company acquired, when the acquiring management have nothing whatsoever to boast about in their previous.

Hence referring to 40 years of 1Spatial, when in fact its the current management that seem inept. By now, normally even useless management would have spouted something generic about market size, but this lot are just full of total waffle.

So they are crowing about buying back a US subsiduary that they once owned and sold prior to floating on aim some years back now, hmmmm

yump, I too find I invest heavily in my kids with absolutely no return. I believe we may start to see it after around 30 years. I have been in this one about 15 I recon. Lost me enough, but not cost me as much as my kids! :-)

I have a 'strategic partnership' with my kids, but they just seem to need constant 'investment'. So far, none of them look like being Masterchefs, so the likelihood of any jam at all is probably less than for SPA.

Because it's increasingly starting to sound like jam jam jam tomorrow...in meantime the jam never arrives.Gone from announcing contracts to strategic partnerships with no numbers?

Probably because its the usual strategic partnership that companies going nowhere fast in terms of revenue or profits, like to talk about.

The clue is in the lack of any numbers.

Sooner or later, perhaps everyone will learn that companies that take satisfaction from announcing strategic partnerships, without any clues about potential numbers, are doing so for a reason.

The numbers suck.

There haven't been any financial announcements here, that have even remotely justified the money spent on that big acquisition. Or the money taken in salaries by the BOD.

I thought this company would go places a few years back, they need to re think the way ahead or change the bod.

Nothing much, which is the problem.

Apart from nice salaries, insured by the massive placing. No doubt they'll boast about the cash at some point, conveniently forgetting that they diluted existing shareholders by 50% in 2014.

I have been involved in this lot for probably around 15 years through one merger and another. Still only lost money on it!

Apparently one has to leave their money invested in the stock market for a life time before one is to see a return!
