Wonder what has caused this large decline today. Though I was wondering what had caused the large increase too, so I can't be too upset.

Pleasure. The great thing about this company is that their bad loan rate is so low - so that as loans mature, the money back can then be ploughed into new business, and therefore the need for new money is less. Amazing spike this afternoon to 0.31. I keep thinking that there will be profit taking and a fall (to buy more!!) but it never happens.
Anyway - off home after another great day!

I wonder if the company has to raise more shares to keep up with the demands?

Sorry - computers and me don't mix. here's a cut and paste of the IC article...

1PM growing fast
1PM
(OPM) may be small, but it's growing at break-neck speed - as the asset finance specialist rushes to fill the funding gap left by mainstream lenders. Customer numbers grew 26.5 per cent to 2,380 in the year to end-May, while new business written rose 57 per cent to £7.8m.
The company provides leasing finance of between £1,000 and £50,000, so that small businesses - typically those who have struggled to borrow elsewhere - can lease equipment and, after repaying the loan, buy it for a nominal sum. But 1PM still maintains strict lending criteria and, despite the sharp rise in the loan book, defaults represent a mere 1.4 per cent of the lease portfolio. Moreover, the risk is well spread, with no single customer accounting for more than 0.53 per cent of the total portfolio value. As 1PM owns the equipment leased, it also avoids having to put aside regulatory reserves against transactions.
Business comes through referrals from a network of finance brokers which has increased steadily to over 70 in number. Moreover, £4.14m of new funding was raised during the year from commercial banks and individuals, while last month a share placing raised £1.5m from Henderson Global Investors - all of this funding will be used solely for writing new business.
Broker WH Ireland expects reported 2014 pre-tax profit of £1m and EPS of 0.018p.

IC VIEW
The pace of 1PM's growth is currently limited by its ability to raise new finance - but that hasn't been a problem yet. After doubling since the start of the year, the shares now trade on 13 times forecast earnings - undemanding given the impressive growth profile. Buy.

Completely agree Abbey. I've only been in this since Monday and already more or less 20% up. The most exciting thing for me about this company is not just the spectacular increase in EPS and profit, but the potential for rapid growth. As revenue streams increasingly come from returns on investment rather than new money, dilution goes down. Their book is increasing at a rate of knots. It feels like one of those amazing companies which we are lucky enough to be in before the rest of the world notices.
Best wishes all
WD

I think we have had the news for now. I suspect it is simply a case of the market taking its time to digest its significance.

A long way north to go from here, I hope.

Morning all. Bought 15m on Monday. What a cracking stock! This one is going to run and run methinks. And there's no stock about. Probably beneath most people's radar - but given the growth in earnings / profit, long term hold looks set to reap fantastic rewards.
