Some chunky buys going through ... totally reminds me of the action just before the rise from 0.1p to 0.21p within 3 days ... would be nice :)

It had the same starting point to of 0.08p before resting back a little before the big rise !!

I wait and see if it happens again.

abbey ... to add to what I said ... this was in the July RNS

"Regarding outlook, Michael Johnson, Chairman, said:

"The board believes that an increasing amount of good quality business is available to be written, especially as larger banks continue to restrict lending to our customer base. This is evident from the quantity of business the company is processing month on month.

"We have strong relationships with our existing funders and will continue to look for new and alternative funding options. The more resources available to the Company the more it can lend on to customers. The Directors believe that the Company's return to profitability should facilitate the agreement of additional funding lines.

"In summary, the Company is in a great position to take full advantage of the constraints currently placed on the UK banking industry and is confident that, with the right support, it will continue to gain strength."


Now it is the last sentence that is the main one. He mentions "with the right support" and todays news is the "right support" he is refering to. So as they are getting that then they are going to gain strength. The chaos in the eurozone with the banks getting burned also helps OPM.

abbey ... did you read it ? Maria Hampton pretty much sums it up .. pretty bullish statement when there have been months of rumours.

david ... yes a lot post on the other thread. I wanted to show the graph to 0.25p but couldn't work it out but the trend broke this year anyhow.

This can shift at any time and the news came at a good time when the graph was building a bit of momentum.

Yes they have more funds available to invest in their lease portfolio. 50 per cent uplift so the lender must be confident in their investment.

OPM. I'm not sure where it will end up today, and I don't care, but if they continue creating value and build an asset base, they'll find the trading process speeds up as other funding lines become available. I've bought these to grow until April 2013, when I need the money from my portfolio to provide an income. Expect it to end up at the end of the day, but where, well its anyones guess.

Re: sharehodder, (LSE) and his pessimism, he's probably still waiting to buy his AUL at 15p ... lol
