Motive, Inc. (NASDAQ:MOTVE) today announced that Heather
Kirksey, who directs strategy and execution of Motive's device
management and digital home standards initiatives, has been elected to
the DSL Forum's Board of Directors. In addition to this new role with
the DSL Forum, Ms. Kirksey is also co-chair for the DSL Home-Technical
Working Group where she has made numerous contributions to the DSL
Forum's Technical Reports for local and remote management, TR-064 and
TR-069 respectively.
The DSL Forum is an international industry consortium of
approximately 200 leading industry organizations covering
telecommunications, equipment, computing, networking and Internet
services. By developing new standards and embracing new applications,
the Forum works to streamline processes, define specifications and
share best practices that set the stage for effective deployments. DSL
Forum standards are published as Technical Reports for use throughout
the global DSL industry.

Ms. Kirksey, considered an expert on the DSLHome(TM), was awarded
the DSL Forum Circle of Excellence in 2004, the highest achievement
recognized by the DSL Forum. She is also an active participant in
numerous other industry organizations including the Home Gateway
Initiative, the Digital Living Network Alliance and the UPnP
(Universal Plug-n-Play) Forum.
At Motive, Ms. Kirksey directs strategy and execution of Motive's
device management and digital home standards initiatives across all
product lines. In her previous role at the company, she launched and
managed Motive's CPE partnership and interoperability program with
leading vendors in the consumer device, silicon and firmware markets.
