Result of AGM and Board change
Gama Aviation Plc, one of the world's largest business aviation service providers, is pleased to announce that at its Annual General Meeting held yesterday, all of the Resolutions proposed were duly passed.
The Company will now progress its capital reduction plans in order to create sufficient distributable reserves to be able to return cash to its shareholders by way of dividends. Subject to the completion of this process, a final dividend of 2.5p per share will be paid in the week beginning 18 July 2016 to all shareholders on the share register at the close of business on 1 July 2016. The ex-dividend date will be 30 June 2016.
The Company also announces that, having completed the integration of Hangar8 plc into the Company following its reverse takeover by the Company in January 2015, George Rolls is to stand down as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. George is standing down in order to provide sufficient time to fulfil his other business interests. The Board is very grateful to George whose substantial endeavours have helped Gama through the successful integration of Hangar8 plc and through the Company's first year's trading as a listed company. The Board appreciates George's desire to now focus on his other business interests and wishes him every success for the future.
