Chaarat (AIM - CGH), the AIM quoted exploration and development company with assets in the Kyrgyz Republic, was informed on 17(th) January that as of that day Labro Investments Limited ("Labro") held 116,227,463 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each, representing 33% of the issued share capital of the Company, following the purchase on 17(th) January of 200,000 ordinary shares at a price of 9.925 pence per share, a second purchase on that day of 200,000 ordinary shares at a price of 9.888875 pence per share and a third purchase of 94,702 shares at a price of 9.5 pence per share.

Martin Andersson (the Chairman of Chaarat) is indirectly beneficially interested in the majority of the shares in Labro.

In accordance with the announcement dated 27 September 2016, a further 9,155,403 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each may be acquired by the concert party within a period of six months from 1 October 2016 without triggering a requirement to make a mandatory offer under the Articles of Association of the Company.
