Chaarat (AIM - CGH), the AIM quoted exploration and development company with assets in the Kyrgyz Republic, was informed on 22(nd) February that as of that day Martin Wiwen-Nilsson, a non-executive director of the Company, held 8,722,023 ordinary shares of US$ 0.01 each, representing 2.48% of the issued share capital of the Company, following purchases on 22(nd) February of 138,000 ordinary shares at a price of 20.00 pence per share.

In accordance with the announcement dated 27 September 2016, a further 5,046,372 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each may be acquired by the concert party within a period of six months from 1 October 2016 without triggering a requirement to make a mandatory offer under the Articles of Association of the Company.
