COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION / TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS
Burford Capital Limited ("Burford" or the "Company"), a leading global finance firm focused on law, announces today that further to its statement this morning, the acquisition of GKC Holdings LLC, the parent of Gerchen Keller Capital, LLC (the "Acquisition"), is now complete.
The Acquisition was funded through a combination of cash, loan notes and new Burford shares. Following admission of the new ordinary shares, expected tomorrow 15 December 2016, the total number of ordinary shares in issue and the total number of ordinary shares in the Company with voting rights will be 208,237,979. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
