Breedon announces that, on 2 September 2016, David Williams, a non-executive director of the Company, sold 6,710,636 ordinary shares at a price of 71.57p per share and, as a consequence, he now has an interest in 10,000,000 ordinary shares representing 0.71% of the Company's Total Voting Rights.

As at today there are 1,410,841,536 Ordinary Shares in issue. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company.
