Reversing direction, the pound slipped against its major counterparts in early European deals on Tuesday.
The pound reversed from an early weekly high of 137.34 against the yen, edging down to 136.15.
The pound dropped to a weekly low of 0.8512 against the euro, 4-day lows of 1.2552 versus the franc and 1.2515 versus the dollar, off its early near 2-month highs of 0.8451 and 1.2641, and a multi-week high of 1.2607, respectively.
The pound is seen finding support around 134.00 against the yen, 0.86 against the euro, 1.24 against both the franc and the greenback.
