The euro recovered from early lows against the other major currencies in the pre-European session on Friday.
The euro rose to 1.0629 against the U.S. dollar and 1.0796 against the Swiss franc, from early 4-day lows of 1.0589 and 1.0777, respectively.
Against the pound, the euro advanced to 0.8457 from an early 3-day low of 0.8416.
The euro climbed to 121.61 against the yen, from an early low of 120.98.
Against the New Zealand and the Canadian dollars, the euro edged up to 1.4809 and 1.4023 from an early 7-month low of 1.4765 and nearly a 1-1/2-year low of 1.3987, respectively.
If the euro extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.10 against the greenback, 1.09 against the franc, 0.88 against the pound, 123.00 against the yen, 1.51 against the kiwi and 1.45 against the loonie.
