The British pound weakened against the other major currencies in the European session on Friday.
The pound fell to a 3-day low of 1.2124 against the U.S. dollar, from an early high of 1.2188.
Against the euro and the Swiss franc, the pound dropped to 8-day lows of 0.8994 and 1.2060 from early highs of 0.8945 and 1.2109, respectively.
Against the yen, the pound edged down to 127.64 from an early high of 128.28.
If the pound extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 1.19 against the greenback, 0.92 against the euro, 1.18 against the franc and 125.00 against the yen.
