HNY all and well done to all buyers/holders from earlier last year.

I decided to sell out at the end of December.

I originally purchased when Pentagon Protection, and after a 100:1 and 10:1 consolidation, I was left holding a very small amount at an average share price of over £5.00 !

I doubted I'd ever recoup my stake, but averaged down (buying 100x my holding) after the last consolidation.

Fortunately, with the recent rise, I've been able to sell out at just under 100% profit, more by luck than judgement.

I will keep following YOLO (or Asimilar once the new thread has been created), and hope the buyer of my shares enjoys success too.

Surprisingly YOLO breaking into new all time highs it seems a larger buyer is loading up at any cost, another large print at 11.5p.

Would be nice the BIDS-boys would do the same with YOLO like they did Bidstack.Shares are thin. When there some buying pressure you see the share price instantly react. Doesn't need much to go up. It had some resistance on the 10p but hopefully we have passed that stage. Are we the only one around here besides a couple of others? Chat doesn't seem very alive.

Yolo have a stake in that Roxi gadget amongst many other things... http://yoloplc.com/content/investors/latest_results.asp

Yes, I also noticed. What is the connection with YOLO?

Having done a bit of research, the reason for the sudden interest is the impending float of Roxi Music of which Yolo have a holding of 15.8%. Earlier in the year a float of approx 50 million was mentioned thus giving Yolos holding a value of approx 7.5m. Have tried to make contact with Arden Partners who are leading the float but as yet they have claimed to be at meetings the whole morning. It would be good to confirm float price and valuation and date of float

If I understand the below. YOLO is pleased to announce the placing of 30,000,000 new ordinary shares of 0.01p each ("Placing") to raise GBP750,000 (before expenses) at an issue price of 2.5p per share ("Placing Shares"). Under the Placing, each placee will also receive one warrant for every two Placing Shares subscribed for as part of the Placing, exercisable at 6.0p per share ("Warrants") at any time from the date of issue up to 31 October 2020.

effectively does this mean they believe the share price is actually worth 6p as subscribers can sell at the end of october at 6p...or have I misunderstood.

Does anyone know the reason for the sudden interest and rise in the share price?
Posted at 07/3/2018 09:23 by twodegrees
I would caution any investment here as the share price bounces around because they need to fund raise as they cannot do other investments with such a low share price. as is shown from the below....they obviously want to issue more shares so that will mean more dilution. ( I would also worry that they would give away as they have done before assets on the cheap) Are the directors buying to create a false market as they obviously want the price to rise, cynically I would add, they have a salary to secure...

Notice of AGM

The Company announces that its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") will be held Third Floor, New Liverpool House, 15 Eldon Street, London, EC2M 7LD at 11.00 a.m. on 28 March 2018. A circular containing notice of the AGM has been posted to shareholders and will be available shortly on the Company's website at www.yoloplc.com.

Under the Companies Act 2006, a company is unable to issue shares at a subscription price which is less than the par value of shares of the same class. This means that, as the par value of the ordinary shares is currently 1 penny, the Company could not issue ordinary shares at a price of less than 1 penny per ordinary share. On 28 February 2018 (being the last practicable time prior to the publication of the circular) the mid-market closing price of the Company's existing ordinary shares of 1p each was 0.42 pence. Unless the market price of the Company's ordinary shares increases to at least 1 penny, it will not possible for the Company to raise new equity capital.

In addition, the Company's directors consider that it is in the best interests of the Company's long term development as a listed company to have a smaller number of shares in issue, so that the Company's ordinary shares are traded in amounts of at least 1 penny (rather than fractions of a penny).

Accordingly resolutions will be proposed at the AGM to seek approval for a share consolidation and subdivision which will result in YOLO shareholders receiving one new ordinary share of 0.01p each in YOLO ("New 0.01p Ordinary Share") in exchange for every ten existing ordinary shares of 1p each ("Existing Ordinary Shares"). Following completion of the share capital reorganisation, the total issued ordinary share capital of the Company will be 44,132,276 New 0.01p Ordinary Shares, each with voting rights.

Application will be made for the New 0.01p Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Admission is expected to occur on or around 29 March 2018.

The Company's annual report and financial statements for the year ended 30 September 2017 were published and circulated to shareholders previously and are available of the Company's website.
