I am out of touch with Frontera Resources but recently found a share certificate from 2008.
Would this share certificate still be valid ?
Are they bust or has the country they are in seized their assets, or is it something else?
I would appreciate some feedback from someone.

3 years ago BUR shareprice >1800p, closing price today 758p.

Nuff said about that fraud. This thread is for discussion of the FRR fraud.

SweetKarolina still talking out of his backside, there are no ‘fraudulent accounting practises’ at Burford, the share price has more than tripled in the last 18 months and even Carson Block has ceased his accusations. The only fraud is SweetKarolina who doesn’t like to admit when he’s called it wrong! Come on, just man up and admit you stuffed up!

Indeed. Some companies seem to get away with fraud thanks to the useless AIM regulatory framework and others collapse despite the useless AIM regulatory framework keeping them going whilst they squeeze the last few £ out of their victims. The facts are FRR is a zero and BUR is still trading at less than half what it was at before its fraudulent accounting practices were exposed, despite getting a US listing.

In short investing in frauds is either a bad idea or a very bad idea.

Fund raisingToday 18:40

During the last few years frr was on aims a number of fund raises took place and i think some must have taken place after the asset was moved if what we are hearing is correct.

That is fraud👨‍;⚖️ and the raises took place in the UK and that brings in the FCA👮‍♂️

A great shame that they don’t pay Frontera employees from the same 💸💵deep money💸ԁ81;well, that seems to keep giving-to pay our very expensive and perennial legal bills🤦‍;♂️

Some things never change🤔

RE: The timing seems to be tellingToday 09:44
The hearing today is an attempt by ZM to dismiss the TRO / case against him. ZM would seem to be basing it on technicalities - 'I don't live in Texas so the court doesn't have jurisdiction' even though the court found otherwise - rather than reply on supporting evidence. FRR lost the first attempt at a TRO because of a technicality, so maybe thats why ZM have chosen this route - or this is stronger argument than their evidence. The judge previously rejected the evidence presented by ZM at the last hearing when granting the TRO.

R8pilot - I thought the hearing was 2pm local. Do you have an update? -

RE: Oh WellFri 21:36
Looed , thanks for the info.
SN basically says he had no idea that this was going on until the deed was done .

I do think it strange that FRR being on bad terms with Zaza have had no ear on the ground in Georgia .

Even more so if Moles theory is correct that FTI have left Zaza in situ in the liquidated Co’s .

Zaza in control ....loose in Georgia .....major fall out between him and SN months ago .....and yet SN , LG and the rest of our new directors appear not have any one monitoring Zaza’s actions .

When you have a serious fall out , which includes legal cases between Zaza and SN and serious money is at stake you would think that FRR would be in contact with FTI questioning the fact they are still allowing Zaza to excerpt control in Georgia .

Really cannot believe that between them FRR and more importantly FTI have left the door open for Zaza to do this

RE: A scorched-earth policyToday 08:52
Madpunter GOGC will have alot if not all the data in my opinion.
The well logs and surveys I think will go with the field and have to be handed back if they have not already got it through the 50% holding in FEGL.
FRR got all the Soviet data and I suspect the next operator will do likewise with FRR data. So I would not pin any hope on value in that.
This is a complete mess. Given Steve and Zaza links to US politicians, Atlantic council, NATO, US chamber of commerce this is fast becoming a political and commercial scandal.
The main winner in that is Russia. The way it's panned out it reflects very badly on Georgia as an investor safe country.
However, it is becoming clear the more you see that none of the main players have exercised the care and diligence shareholders deserve from people who have represented not just the company but western interests in Georgia.
Collectively they are an embarrassment to their respective countries national interests.

Legally this looks difficult and to protect reputations and interests Steve needs to be phoning friends to sort it out.

The lot of them from FRR board through to Outrider and FTI have indeed caused a scorched earth of block 12.

It's hard to see even if current events are reversed where FRR as a company goes from here. Who in their right mind would trust them with a loan?
Total sale is only option and at moment with under a year on the 1% and no real prospect of large scale development it's worthless. A short term smash and grab to extract $5m a year of oil makes sense via Green if you can get away with it.

RE: SN etc v ZM - Proposed Restraining orderToday 09:34
Well something doesn't add up here.
The missing bit is why Steve seems unaware of the FRR US transfer being blocked by the Georgians. The reason is in the arbitration outcome. Why it was not then allowed and registered once the 1% was left is the curiosity. Steve thinks it should have been.
The reason Zaza remained in place is I suspect the fault of FTI who left FRR in management position. The non registration of the transfer always left this in an ambiguous state. The nature of the alleged $5.8m debt also remains a mystery. You wonder whether it's Zaza back pay! Without any accounts since 2017 we have no idea what has happened.
It sure looks like a fraudulent transfer to the detriment of creditors and shareholders.
Just when you think the mess could not get more complicated it does. The irony that Steve is now fighting for an asset that could then be lost to Outrider is unreal.
And Gogc may also be broadly aligned as well is surreal.
Reflects badly on US and Georgia.

this just doesnt make senseToday 09:32
not that anything frontera ever has
so zaza has gone from bad mouthing the GG and GOGC to stealing the asset from us in double quick time with illegal super fast court decisions.
Hands up all international companies who want to invest in Georgia when you can
spend 400 million over 20 years.
be derailed and hindered by the quango over seeing your operations
Dragged through an international court of arbitration for the above stalling tactics by those doing the stalling
Bad mouthed by the GOGC and retaliate through (Georgian national ) CEO
Then shafted by CEO who without collusion of GVT and justice system couldnt steal the asset

Anyone? Any Takers ? roll up roll up for a right royal shafting

What a crock of sheet this is
