So why cant GBenson answer my simple question? The reason is because he doesn't know what shorting is.
Resistance If the contract increases the share price its good news but so far the share price has not moved. I'm an investor not a geek. My world is simple I like a share that increases in value or pays a good dividend. This share does neither. And has been this way for years which is why the company needs new management who understand how to run a commercial business.

Car1pet this would be the place to try to start. Uk small co and special sits.

Moti was paid $u 972k ..$u 678k is basic …
The business net of cash is valued at about £50m.
The current share price is at a discount to NAV (22p) for a company that describes itself as a leading company in disruptive technologies that is dire!!
Another point in a breach of governance guidelines for U.K. listed is that the Chair has served as a director since 2010 and as Chair since 2015..he is therefore not considered to be independent and should not serve for longer than 9 years in total ..things get too cosy and there are question marks over their ability to effectively challenge executive performance. There has been no new independent director for six years and the senior independent has been on board for 8 years. It really needs freshening up.
The other thing to add is that LOAM along with their mate Richard Griffiths ( who popped up with a shareholding here) has been behind a number of businesses delisting on London and relaunching on Nasdaq…eg Silence Theraputics. Maybe that should be the aim here??
A tidied up refocused Batm could be a candidate IF they actually streamline it to the growth businesses and actually manage to get some commercial traction.
It’s getting difficult to believe the stories as time goes by …but maybe it might come right but they need to have pressure on them as life appears far too comfortable getting big salaries and owning not a single share.

None showing

Very small likely linked to arbitrage between London and Tel Aviv.

There is no evidence of any shorting. The share price decline seems entirely down to poor operational performance and lack of delivery on strategic aims and demonstrating traction with the new technology.
With the balance sheet there seems limited downside there is certainly no funding pressure..I’m unclear why folks think the share price is down to those “pesky” shorters at all , they just need to look at the rns’s over the past few years to see why the shares are where they are. Hope the company does start delivering and the shares start to respond but talk is cheap and sentiment dented for now.

A company misses its shop broker forecast and gets downgraded after 3 previous profit warnings and little progress on its Inflection point technology ..not sure there is a conspiracy in a headline around the final results outcome…and the share price seems to agree there was nothing to cheer about as far as I can see.
Some need to wake up and realise the share price is nothing to do with shorting and everything to do with poor performance and lack of delivery.

Interesting comment Carpet..indeed paying big bonuses after a series of profit warnings and a collapsed share price when the shares seem to trade at little enterprise value or certainly a discount to book value somewhere along the line does no add up for shareholders.
I also agree re Lombard Odier , the managers of the U.K. special sits are not known to be the most patient and verge on the activist..here they just seem to sit on just under 30% and openly seem to be doing nothing..behind the scenes they may be putting more pressure on..but it is not having any impact on progress in demonstrating value or an improvement in sentiment being shown by the share price. Maybe they sort change at the top moving Moti up ..who knows.
Not sure they have unlimited time..so far as an investment in technology it has been a bit of a disaster over just about any timeline. They show as unchanged from initial issue last century !! Down over 60% over last 5 years down 18% over 1 year. Maybe jam next year hey !

with the share price at 18.30/18.50 Lombard must be asking some serious questions of the Board. Cap value is now £80m. Its got to be worth selling off now. A 30% uplift for a purchase would mean we all get 25p per share. I will have lost money but better than the price sinking down to 15p

I agree with you Kooba. Nagar admitted he had no shares and claimed it was difficult for him to buy any. B..S...
He looked very uncomfortable throughout the presentation and well he might with a totally underwhelming 15 months in charge. His comment about share price 30 35p was in response to my question as to why it had fallen from high 20 to 20p. His answer was effectively saying he wasn't responsible for the share price!!!! I was very angry at his arrogant response. As you say Kooba why hasn't the major shareholder taken some action and given a vote of no confidence in him and the board. He has achieved nothing in 15 months

Very quick calculation Market value 87mil based on today's share priceCash and property are almost all of that valuation, plus a profitable 120 mil turnover company and a 40m value investment in AdorShare price should be 2-3 times higher even without growth. The board really need to get this message across.

Personal I think the company are running a tight ship in testing times, as a genuine investor I want to see a well run company with an increasing share price BATM has a large Spreadex 3%+ short and I guess others, on the company, and you can see them daily keeping the share price suppressed, no matter how well the company do they've got their hand tied behind their back. I'm sure the company although not admitting to it keep an eye on the share price I believe in restarting the share buyback will help to decrease the amount of free shares in circulation and increase the share price over time, these shorts need to have their fingers burnt big time!!

First off, let me be clear that the GARP story that is increasingly coming into focus here - the 3 rock-solid business foundation, the clutch of credible short- and medium-term catalysts, the pristine balance sheet, the improving comms under the new leadership, the prospect for u/g to Shore Cap's forecasts - are all more than enough for me to argue that this rally may just be getting started, but if we are going to share our favourite outside-the-box triggers that might independently lift the share price, then I offer the following as an alternative to a potential covid move: a return to the TASE 125. 2023 has been a pretty miserable year for Israeli equities, particularly vs almost all other developed markets, marked by the bankruptcy of over 80 high-tech companies (mostly private companies to be fair, but still very impactful) due to painfully high interest rates and a commensurate decline in capital availability. As a result, there are now several companies with market caps in the low $200millions and the smallest company, Oramed Pharm, is now below $125m in the TASE 125. On Friday, BATM went out at about $155m market cap. Now, we're still a long-shot for any number of reasons including that there could well be a number of other possible entrants that are bigger than BATM (and I can't be bothered to find out right now), and even if not, bvc may still not gain entry due to the 'free float' factor score that the exchange considers when making these decisions, etc. But remember, BATM's ejection from this very index almost exactly a year ago, saw over 7m net shares get sold on the rebalancing date, which caused far more damage to our share price than the fiasco with the FTSE-Russell index the previous year. So even if there is only a whiff of a chance that the TASE 125 decision reverses - especially relevant if our share price breaks out for whatever reason for a 20%+ run vs the index and its nearest competitors of course - I think it's worth just a tiny mention now, no?
