China, you posted for nearly 3.5 years for merely £1000 worth of investment. It would be best if you stuck with Barclay's other big cap. Obviously, you must be making tens of millions.

The question is, for everyone? Why post 1050 posts on AMGO and create a moderated thread?

Yet he trades in chunks of £500 in AMGO; this guy had so many disasters.

So spending all day, weeks, months, and years on AMGO for £500 trades while he is making 200K-500K on Barclays. LOL

Chinaman stop posting; us a favour. Go and make millions on Barc. LOL

If they were confident they could do the raise, be it the full amount or a revised lower amount, like the £15m suggested then it would be offered to all shareholders to participate in.
Accordingly nobody need be unduly diluted and, although there would be a lot more shares in issue they would be stakes in a much bigger company with a far higher asset value (and in cash courtesy the raise). It is often misleading to use the word dilution, because the resulting business nearly always has a proportionately higher cash/asset base following a capital raise.
Obviously the price the new shares are offered at matters and they will/have been offered at a discount, however if for example that is (say) 33%, that price could be 4p if the prevailing share price at the time is 6p.
In addition if there was subsequently strong ordinary shareholder participation the total raised could far exceed requirements.

FWIW, I sold the entirety of my (small anyway) long holding today (Wed 28th Dec 2022), for the time being at least.

The Nil Paid Rights, whenever issued, will surely have an inherent value based on what I presume will be an exercise price at a discount to what the company anticipates would be the post-announcement share price. By selling, I would miss out on the NPRs and therefore their inherent value.

My concern is that the announcement of the rights issue may itself cause a share price drop that may exceed the total inherent value of all the NPRs issued per share (personally I don't regard the impending rights issue as properly priced in already). If that were true, then it would be better to be out and to consider re-entry post-dilution/consolidation.

I haven't shorted per se (in that I have no CFD-style / spread-bet-style instrument); I am merely out (i.e. have no position), for the time being. If I grow warmer on it (perhaps even before the rights issue, although that would involve a bit of a mind-change) then I may split the difference by re-entering, but at a smaller level (notwithstanding the extra costs in that approach).

My viewpoint is likely influenced to a degree by my limited funds' somewhat necessitating a slightly more conservative outlook.

WTFDIK anyway; far from an expert over here. DYOR GLA.
