Interesting to read today about Kalium going into Administration last Friday. The same AFR story noted CEFC $US47m loan to SO4 has been written down to $5.5m or 9c in the $. Looks likely secured lenders have taken a major haircut in approving the sale of SO4 to Sev.en. The class action may involve more than SHs?

Hello heres the latest from KPMG putting the onus on KordaMentha for shareholders:
"We advise that at the reconvened second meeting of creditors of the Company (and subsidiaries) held 2 December 2022, a Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) was accepted by the creditors of the Company.

The DOCA was executed on 23 December 2022 and the terms of the DOCA were fully complied with and hence the DOCA effectuated on 5 January 2023.

As such we are no longer the Administrators of the Company and our role has converted to Trustees of the Salt Lake Potash Creditors’ Trust for the purpose of distributing a return to creditors (excluding shareholders).

Salt Lake Potash Limited currently remains subject to the appointment of Receivers and Managers from KordaMentha.

We understand that the Directors intend to work with Receivers and Managers to pursue an opportunity for the recapitalisation of SO4.

Shareholders will be informed of any updates when the recapitalisation plan is proposed. There has currently been no declaration that the shares of the Company are worthless."

I saw this in the AFR and wondered if it is just more gossip. According to the ASX we have three remaining Directors Chair Ian Middlemas, Matthew Bungey and Phil Montgomery in the listed entity that has just renewed its listing fees for another 12 months. If the SO4 business is sold out of the listed entity as a going concern then it will be lawyers for sure with SHs. Interesting times.

I'm wondering if Anglo American are bidding for Salt Lake Potash. They bought out Sirius Minerals the collapsed UK Potash Company in Yorkshire, Northern England.

On that occasion they made a cash offer for the shares of about 10% of the companies peak share price.

there's a report that SO4 has found a buyer.
Macquarie Capital had locked in an offshore buyer to buy Salt Lake’s assets, and was working through the final pricing details on Tuesday evening [ NSW time].

Sources expected the buyer to sign the dotted line within in the next 48 hours....

Interesting development at RWD, with the company going into a suspension "pending the release of an announcement regarding a material acquisition".

Given the timing, could RWD be acquiring the assets of SO4 ? RWD's market cap is only $19.5m, so how would they fund such an acquisition even if it was only cents in the dollar?

Hypothetically, if RWD did a capital raise to buy the SO4 assets, would you participate.

Shareholders have been taken in by management and dumped upon once again. I know, I have.

The share price falling today by 50% to 8p comes with justified negative sentiment. A real sickener!

Market cap has been reduced by £50 million-plus in anticipation of funding to come and the reduced production. Didn't see it coming but the signs of share price weakness were there. The missed production gap needs to be funded. Now know why loans were expensive.

Is the £50 million market cap lost today just due to the original quarterly planned production being delayed until 2022? So is the drop fair? Not clear.

Also of concern is the cost of the new CAPEX required. The model has changed and by how much or has it collapsed altogether?

Other future lakes will have the same issues, I suspect.
The multi-bagger may be more about getting my investment back.

After the share price precipitous fall, do I take the lower price as the lake bottom? Probably, expect to see some recovery and share price falls many times over in days to come.

Increased my holding by 25%. Not entirely rational.
