I can make up my own mind, based on the evidence in the public domain, so I'm not particularly interested in what Michael Walters has to say.

I've had a punt on FAST and so has my son (he's had a fairly big punt). I was about to increase the size of my punt, but the suspension has put an end to that. I'm hopeful that, based on the FAST chart, we could see at least 4p on re-listing with further progress thereafter. Would be nice to see 10p, but that will depend on positive news flow and how investors react to that news.

I must admit to being surprised that the FAST share price never ended up at a significant premium to it's cash (say 4p) pre suspension on an RTO bearing in mind the quality of the Board (Harry Stratford).

88E closed down 50.96% today at 1.28p. So EVERYBODY who bought yesterday has LOST a lot of money since yesterdays trading range was 2.07p-2.83p!! This was because the MM's opened up 88E yesterday at 2.10p, DOUBLE the previous days close!!

I hope you weren't one of the mug punters who bought 88E yesterday, or early this morning, JP and still hold them!!

Small, very speculative, AIM O&G shares are so volatile because they are ideal pump & dump candidates. Some shrewd punters will make a fast buck, but many others will get their fingers badly burnt!!

I'll stick to FAST. At least the Mkt Cap is covered by it's cash balance.

UKOG is another pump & dump exercise. The UKOG share price was opened up today at 1.72p and those punters who piled in this morning when the share price rose to over 2p (intraday high was 2.47p) are sitting on a paper loss because the share price closed at 1.98p.

JP is very selective: he mentions these O&G minnows when the share price has risen on the pump, but keeps very quiet when they drop on the dump!!

No they are not you lying C*NT!! MOIL, MXO & GKP are "flying" today, but only because they have been under the cosh these past 6 months because they are strapped for cash. FAST wouldn't have been flying today if they had stayed in O&G because the FAST share price wouldn't have been decimated in the past 6 months like the MXO share price SIMPLY BECAUSE FAST IS NOT STRAPPED FOR CASH.

You really are as thick as two short planks, JP, as well as being a LIAR!! I'd love to me you; I've always wanted to meet up with the missing link! LOL.

They were probably a rollover, sea7, done at, or near, the then asking price since they were only 25 seconds apart. 250k sold at 2.73p and then bought back 25 seconds later at 2.75p. That's probably why the FAST share price didn't move which it probably would have done on 2 x 250k buys.

"Remember the reaction in late 2014 to the suggestion that CF wanted to move out of oil and into biotech? With hindsight, I'd call it visionary."

Definitely visionary, bigwavedave, to want to exit the O&G sector back then. Move over, Mystic Meg, you have competition! LOL. Only time will tell whether he was just as visionary in his decision to move FAST into biopharma.

Looking at the FAST chart a further drift down, in the absence of news, seems possible. The 200 day EMA is currently just above 2.50p.

A possible bullish Cup & Handle pattern is forming on the chart though a close below 2.45p would negate that. It's impossible to predict the direction of the FAST share price from charts because it's news driven and who can tell when news will be released and it's likely content? Though it's cash balance does provide support.

Since the FAST share price dropped below the 200 day EMA back in the early summer of 2013 it's been downhill ever since for the FAST share price However now, for the first time in almost 3 years, the FAST share price is back above the 200 day EMA. Has the tide finally turned for the FAST sp? The recent news flow suggests yes!!

A close above the August high of 2.93p on good volume would indicate that a double bottom chart pattern had formed and a POSSIBLE short term target of 4p beckons. Certainly the appointment of the big hitter, Harry Stratford, to the FAST BoD has caught the imagination of many investors. Many cash shells with a big hitter on the BoD have traded/do trade at a hefty premium to cash value as investors see big potential ahead.

IMO the FAST share price seems poised for a further rise. My short term target is 4p.

"We may, over the next month or so, see the stock drop back to low 2's again without any news."

Who can predict share prices, sea7? I'd hazard a guess that not even Zak Mir can do that with his charts! LOL.

However a rise to the intraday high (and maybe higher) of August (3.05p) is possible. There's not much enthusiasm for share trading just prior to Christmas, but a rise in the FAST share price after the Christmas & New Year festivities are over is a distinct possibility. I wouldn't discount that possibility, sea7.

Buy Fastnet Equity at 2.25p

By HotStockRockets | Monday 7 December 2015

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

This is really the simplest share tip we will ever make. And it is something of a nil brainer. The trade is to buy shares in Fastnet Equity (FAST) at a 2.25p offer and at up to 2.5p with a target to sell at 3p.

Fastnet used to be an oil company but a few monthjs ago it rightly decided that no-one was interested in oil stocks any more. We agree. No-one is going to be interested for a very good while. And so the company exited all its interests and said that it wished to change its focus.

Net cash right now is c£10 million (just a little bit over). The annual cashburn as Fastnet looks for a RTO is sub £400,000 per annum. The market cap at a 2.3p offer is c£7.7 million. In other words this stock trades at a 24% discount to net cash.

Of course the management could blow the lot of a daft acqusition. But we know and rate Cathal Friel and his team and think that unlikely. Indeed we reckon that a good deal in the life sciences sector - which is pretty much flavour of the month right now - is really very close.

We reckon that news of that deal will spark a material re-rating. We back management. Even a re-rating to NAV would see you be able to bank a 20-30% gain in just a couple of months. And with that cash backing the downside looks to be very limited.

The trade: buy Fastnet at 2.3p and at up to 2.5p with a view to sell at 3p+ by the early New Year.

Many thanks for posting that link, Tromso!. Now we know why the FAST share price rose recently. It was tipped to HSR subscribers.

All I hope for, JP, is that the FAST share price goes above 3p before there is any suspension pending an RTO, otherwise we could be stuck with you & your posts for months more. What a dreadful prospect! It doesn't bear thinking about!
