Posted at 21/10/2011 11:56 by nurdin Beats me why anyone would buy CTN now at 85p ! |
Posted at 13/10/2011 16:26 by spaceparallax Just flogged off my last 13K@84.5p.Farewell CTN - you've served me well. |
Posted at 20/9/2011 13:18 by adamb1978 Going to wait to see whether another competing party emerges before selling out. The offer is a healthy premium but it only implies a PE of just under 14x Jul-12 which for this sector isnt crazy given the growth of CTN. No idea who might emerge as a competing offeror...what about CTN's distribution partner Cordis who are owned by Johnson & Johnson? Price would need to be 10% above the current offer in order to make the irrevocables fall away but I dont think it would be unreasonable for this sort of company to be bought for 20x forward earnings....which would be 126p!!! |
Posted at 20/9/2011 10:07 by spaceparallax I have mixed feelings. I'm happy to make a quick profit, but had intended sticking with CTN for the very long term where I could envisage it becoming a big success.I've been frustrated a few times over the years with some favourites being bought out. Big question now is where else to reinvest the money? |
Posted at 20/9/2011 07:35 by stegrego Woot. Some good news for a change. Very happy to take 85 after paying 25. Well done CTN. |
Posted at 07/9/2011 17:12 by hastings Those large trades would not all have Been sells john, the price would have dropped like a stone! More likely the last of enterprise Ireland,s holding being placed with another inst. Or maybe another fund selling while someone happy to take them on. Guess there will be an rns to follow. |
Posted at 31/8/2011 14:49 by nurdin Yes looks like EI sold all their holding according to the RNS yesterday.Must have bought the shares when CTN started life many years ago! |
Posted at 22/8/2011 08:51 by hastings Been away for the last three weeks so missed the recent mayhem. CTN continues to look as solid as ever though and look one of the better prospects around. |
Posted at 03/8/2011 10:47 by adamb1978 Look at the financials rather than the share price and use that to decide what the future of the company holds. Share prices everywhere are getting battered at the moment so I'm personally less concerned that my YTD returns have dropped....provided the companies which I'm inveted in continue to produce solid results, are moving in the first direction etc |
Posted at 09/7/2011 12:25 by 2vdm Good write up on CTN. Tip of the Day in UK Analyst today. Here's the header:-"ClearStream (CTN) was first tipped on WatsHot.com just under two weeks ago. Since then the share price has already shot up by over 6%. But with a growing product range in a niche area of healthcare that looks set for strong growth over the coming years, editor James Faulkner believes the shares have much further to go." |
