Posted at 12/11/2000 02:25 by matt1231 Apart from general market volatility the following did not help:--fears of competition from the US. IBM to make chips. -broker who brought company to market whilst maintaining a target price of £60 have themselves sold shares. Not seen as a vote of confidence. Shares may continue to fall back towards £10 until someone says that it is a brilliant company, competition fears overdone and shares oversold. In other words all the normal cliches. Also need Nasdaq to provide a nice bounce. |
Posted at 11/11/2000 21:37 by .predator If anyone has any facts or speculations regarding Bookhams fall from grace please reply.Middle September price was circa £45 , now barely holding onto £15 which wiill probably break on monday. I am seriously considering investing as a five or ten ponud rise from current levels does not seem unreasonable, or does it? Anyone else of the same opinion? Do they have money troubles or is this just a case of the baby being thrown out with the bath water. Come on out there , guidance and opinions please |
