Posted at 21/7/2023 09:54 by whoppy Some take small profits, others see a sell and so think they should sell, sometimes the MM moves the share down to get sells if they are short of stock and know that an increase will be coming. Lot's of reasons. The thing at the moment is news from the new management has not yet been released and quite a few will hold off until they know what's happening, by which time they will pay a premium. Nothing goes up in a straight line. I expect buying will kick in again when a buy or two appears and the share price will reverse with people seeing buys and thinking they should also buy. The Mcap is so tiny it won't justify the new management plans and so will rise in next couple of weeks. imo. 20p is easily achievable. Would only be £12m Mcap after the management have increased their holding to 30%. They know where it's going. |

With QGC and Mr Brewer taking 30% of the company and access to funding and equipment, that 143M tonnes of JORC compliant coal resource valued at £4m is ludicrous. Plus the zinc project in Zambia being acquired the Mcap should get to £50m, imo. |

Posted at 16/6/2023 08:44 by yaki blue59good point but technicalities of any RTO into EDL are not trivial, as far as I know. Having said that, there are many cheaper shells too, why EDL? SA coal magnate link makes sense but as I said there are many projects in TZ and area such as Moz, Bots that can be had way cheaper. Eg Tancoal was only sodl very recently for very little, and is not that far from Mtwara! Oh well, we will see blue59 16 Jun '23 - 08:07 - 13600 of 13602 yaki - What does EDL have that Marula wants? They now have new backers with deep pockets and Jason Brewer who's work ethic and mining experience and contacts will push EDL towards being a significant coal producer in Tanzania. He has stated MARU will be a £100m mcap miner. The guy knows how to do it. EDL can be a £100m mcap miner. Currently £2m mcap. |
Posted at 01/6/2023 10:42 by whoppy MARU are looking to list on AIM. Jason Brewer is now exec director of EDL. Can quite easily RTO assets into EDL and call it Marula. 25p warrants exercisable until May 24... 25 PENCE! share price could be 50p by then. |
Posted at 01/6/2023 10:28 by whoppy I thought that. I reckon they will. EDL virtually a cash shell. EDL compliments MARU. MARU gone from 2p to 10p in 6 months. Rukwa on it's own is a huge coal asset. MARU has battery metal projects all over Africa and big backers that have just taken over EDL. Newsflow will be thick and fast. |
